Upto you, as it's a fun comp you can share and get ideas of each other, after all it's a community comp and I want us to help each other along.
Maybe a lizards oriented but abandoned quarry...not sure yet. Would lizards construct any sort of cranes? Would they just use four Kroxigor? Still thinking on small details...suggestions welcome.
No one would object if you just picked something yourself, or even one off the list, and just made it anyway
I guess using Kroxigors is economically effective (who said slave manual labor in Warhammer world is inefficient?), but still, I guess Skinks could've come up with some basic technologies like a shadoof crane: That is entirely for your consideration, of course. )
Well I'm in then but I make it lizardmen themed, they have to drink something and I highly doubt swamp water is it. So I will make a skink brewery. Tequila woho!
Just trying to wrap my mind around to make it lizard-ish...what could a shrine be for lizardmen. They worship the old ones in ziggurats, sacrifying hearts.... Any other way you would see a shrine for them? Some kind of pool, artefact?
Could be some kind of landmark... like a special formation of rocks... or a place where something of importance happen... or a place of great magical power where Slann can go to flee the omnipresent trouble of the cities to meditate in total silence...
A shrine of Sotek might be a snake pit? And it could have those blocky-snake, totem-stone pillars....maybe small ones.
So i come back to see what i got...takes a look at the first post wtf? I got to.make a castle....oh man what did i get myself into...
For me a fort or a gate house would be ok... or a piece of wall with two towers and a big gate in between...
Still need to figure out wether to make a bigger trading post for multiple races with more buildings and so on or a single building for just one race to get goods and food from further away...
That's a tough draw. Definitely not an easy or quick terrain piece. But... rewarding if you complete it!
They have quite a few gods for quite a few different things. List of old ones. You could make a swamp pillar, a solar tower, a snake pit, a bird statue or a cold one feeding den.
A tumbled down, ruined castle might be an easier thought. Possible themes... A Lizardman river fort that has fallen into ruin...some of it could have tumbled into the river... An ancient High Elves place (Southlands?) that succumbed to the jungle long ago...
