On the other hand: Introducing might work. It sure did for my wife. At least the painting side of Warhammer. I wouldn't exactly expect them to play. Perhaps it is cliché but all female Warhammer people I met until now were much more into painting than into playing, even to the point where they said they have never played a single game of Warhammer but painted whole armies.
I only know one girl who is really into warhammer... and I only saw her on YouTube... Joey Barry... And I'm not sure if she's still active... Oh and there's this American girl... don't know her name... but both are really into wargaming/ tabletop games...
In my case it'll probably take eternity because I'm not exactly very attractive to members of the opposite gender. But I'm prepared to wait... [Necron Emoticon] I knew a girl who was into Middle Earth so I could have got her interested through that route, but I won't be seeing her anymore because we've gone our separate ways
I've watched some of her vids and liked them. Learned some stuff from her. In my local GW there are at least two (maybe three) girls who regularly paint there. So there ARE girls who like Warhammer. There is hope.
Same for me and Gina Wild... Joke aside! She made some really nice videos... talking of Joey Barry now...
Hmm, American girls aren't my sort of thing...too uncivilised... But then, one man's beast is another man's beauty...
If my memory serves me correctly, the reason Joey isn't posting a lot is because she got a job at Creative Assembly doing community stuff for Total War: Warhammer. Back on topic... when you pass the miniature town holiday display at Disneyland and start thinking about how you could play a really great Warhammer game on it.
Joey Berry? she works for Creative Assembly now, she works with the community of Total Warhammer and hosts their livestreams.
You are way too into warhammer when you have three wafer tins full of carved sticks to make a 28 mm scale timber palisade. You know you've been into warhammer for too long when you start rants with "Back before GW made the LOTR game......"
