I wanted to talk about that as well. That Allies thing.

I haven't really checked all armies but it really seems that the only army that can summon us as allies are SCE, and SCE are the only ones we can take as allies.

Lore-wise (from that little info I know) that kinda makes sense I guess, since the Seraphon don't seem to care much about other factions, they just come and kill Chaos if it suits them and then just leave again.
Sigmar seems to be the only one actually talking to them and sometimes cooperating.

From a gameplay point of view it is.... halfway understandable because of a few reasons:
    - Seraphon are a vast faction, with basically everything except long range artillery available to us. If we have to do something it is very likely that we have a unit in our army which is suitable for the task. I'll have to check if other big factions such as Tzeentch also have very few allies. Or let me just check Stormcast, they surely don't.... wait... ok SCE have everything... moving on.
    - We have very cheap Skinks now, if everyone yould take them many people would, so Skinks everywhere? Probably GW thought that's not desirable. Except for SCE because it is very important that they get everything.
    - We can take Stormcast as allies because everyone should play Stormcast because those are the best. Which is obvious of course because they are Stormcast. Ok joke aside, SCE fight for all Order so it makes sense for them.
    - Maybe our allegiance abilities are so strong that they would break the game if we could choose certain Order units. We'll see soon I guess.

I don't like how Seraphon are a bit isolated now. I had hoped that we could choose anything except SCE because I don't want to play the poster boys but want to use allies.
But keep in mind we can still play an Order army and get all that. Granted, we cannot use our allegiance abilities then, but depending on how good they are it might be worth it if the ally is great for some list.

Still.... yeah, it doesn't really sound as if we get new units soon.

You could do that all the time. Since we didn't have allegiance abilities there weren't many reasons to play pure Seraphon. In the future there might are, which is why I am hopeful for our abilities in the GHB2017.

@Aginor thats true, I was being a sore sport about not having allegiance abilities and went Destruction till they announced this book haha. It would of been cool if that new boxed game had us vs nurgle since we are about killing chaos, especially deamons.

Seraphon vs. Nurgle sounds a bit one-sided to be honest. I know we discussed that a while back and my impression was that we would rip them to shreds when playing halfway well. ...but so do SCE I guess, I would have loved to see Seraphon in such a box. Not going to happen though, the only things I expect in boxes are
    - SCE plus one of the following per box:

    - Khorne
    - Ironjawz
    - Nurgle
    - FEC
    - Tzeentch

Bit disappointed we've not got any new "battleline-if" units by the looks of things and actually knights and guard have become "battleline-if"

I don't fully understand I think. Knights and Guards have been Battleline-ifs all the time since the GHB1 was released.

Which units would you like to have as battleline? We have enough IMO. Provided we keep our list pure Seraphon:
    Warriors, Skinks, Guards and Knights.
Everyone else is a hero anyway, except Slamanders and Razordons, which would be kinda weird, and flyers which....well, actually it would be awesome to have Rippers as battlelines. :D

You're right, completely forgot that. Maybe krox and rippers which as you say are awesome and would make brilliant battleline, imagine two units of 40 skinks and a unit of rippers in a shadowstrike to cover all your battleline for only 790 points! You could have 4 bastilladons and 2 salamanders in there for a tasty 1990pts.

    Hi Guys!

Don't miss this out in an hour, my last post was basically saying that warhammer TV will be having a game in an hour. SERAPHON vs Sylvaneth.

    IMG_9021.PNG

Also theyallready revealed a lot of awrsome stuff for us.

Our slanns now have a command trait that allows them to know the spells of our skinks! THIS IS AWESOME!

Also one of the artifacts allows you to bring him back after he is slain with D3 wounds 12" away from where he was

    Nice!
I won't be able to see it cause I'm from my smartphone and I don't have a WiFi connection at disposal...
So please, can someone keep track of what will be said regarding our beloved lizards and write here a brief recap of everything at the end of the match?
I don't need to know EVERYTHING about the match, just the most important things (who will be the winner, if you hear or see big changes in Seraphons' abilities or playstyle, your opinions on what you see and similar things...): I'd thank you a (Xlanax) lot!!!

    - forgive me for this awful pun

    You are right!

Our lizards are heading down a good path!

The best part is that those teleports now have a very good chance of making the charge with curse of fathes and the first constelation alligment from the Slann and finally the skink priest.

It becomes a 7 up rerrollable charge!

That and some units can even do more, like Troglodon or Stegadon.

Honestly that teleport 2 units per turn is game changing, just imagine the possibilities!
