Whilst browsing for Seraphon things on eBay, I stumbled across someone selling an old copy of White Dwarf from Aug 2013, which was a Lizardmen special. Naturally, I wanted to find out more about this issue without paying the crazy high price the gentleman was advertising it for. After perusing the internet (didn't take long) I found an article from another website forum linking to the exact issue I was looking for, so I'm sharing it with you all. I found it really interesting, even if the "fluff" isn't valid in AoS anymore. It also contains some painting tips towards the back which still seem quite relevant. I have this copy and use it for reference, in the painting section they paint the seat for the carny stone which is a good tut.

You're welcome! Glad it was useful for some of you. I know this must have been said a thousand times already, but it's a shame they felt the desire to "nuke" the old world for AoS, as the lore is so interesting. Plus I really like the idea of the hero characters. Gives it all that little bit more personality in my opinion.
