For the pool effect to work well you'd likely have to work with some 3D mechanics - or at least some water type substances for modelling to give it a bit more depth but with what you have its fine to have the earth heat up and melt around him
My converted Carnosaur on a (nearly finished) display base along with my bastilodon. Need to finish painting the rest of my army to go on the base. Also pics of Carnosaur in progress. First time attempting to use green stuff and do a conversion so it's more than a bit messy.
Go for it. I didn't like how short the neck was on the Carnosaur model it looked out of proportion to me so I thought I'd make it longer and make some armour etc to cover the sub standard green stuff work :L
Hello totzro ! I got to say that I 'm in love with your Carno, it is absolutely awesome !! Could you please tell me the color scheme you used and maybe some advice for a newb painter like myself to try make something - hopefully - 1/10 as beautiful as that ??
+1 to all the above comments. Your carnosaur is amazing! Definitely a design worth emulating! Really makes the carnosaur look older and deadlier... Thanks for the inspiration! Edit: Also I took another look at that base; it almost looks like an oil painting on a canvas, made to look like a jungle/swampy surface???
Inspirational Carnosaurs (NOT mine, using them for inspiration!) Carnosaur by Gruumsh: Carnosaur by Rafal Maj (bloodybeast.com), as part of an converted savage orc warband: I don't have a name or source for this one, but it is beautifully painted red, and that base!
love the geode base. great idea very lovely! holy crap guys! great work! and the mayan inspired savage orks are the bees-knees!
