Like the Deepkin turtle! But a pterosaur! I would love for our Carnosaur to have rend. Rend one on a T-rex bite!? But the turtle has 2! And can deal mortal wounds!?

The carno's stats are so underwhelming. Even if we don't get new sculpts I would be partial to some of our warscrolls getting revamped.

Watching my oldblood get bodied by things half his size and half as badass-looking gets disheartening after a while.

I started a Deepkin army recently and ran the turtle in a list against my friends Legions of Nagash - that thing carved it's way through two max units of skeletons (with minimal support) before being brought down by none other than Nagash himself.

Give me a carnosaur that can wreck house like THAT. I don't care how many points he has to cost!

Long are the fangs of those who have waited for such a thing.

Hopefully they do something about Pestilence Monks too... course I'm biased as there is a player here who regularly runs groups of 40.. and they wreck all my big beasties after chewing through battleline if I make a mistake.

Unfortunately, I don’t think carnosaurs will ever be better than they are. The turtle is godly because they want many people to spend a thousand dollars on a deepkin army. most Seraphon players don’t need to buy the current models and are hoping for rules changes. Rules changes don’t make money.

Well, rules changes that inspire existing players to pick up a Seraphon army might make money. A Battletome (not that I think one is coming any time soon) would make money, though not on the order of a whole army of miniatures, no. And even hints of rules changes might inspire existing Seraphon players to add to their collections. I've got a lot of Seraphon models, but now I'm hoping I'm going to need more Guard, so I'm ordering more Guard!

there's also the fact that existing players might consider buying a new carnosaur or some such cuz there current one looks old and they're better painters now. It might not be on the ame scale as the release of an entire new faction, but it should still be a noticable bump in sales.

Yeah, the saurus warriors haven't changed in over a decade beyond the type of plastic used to make the sprues. With that said, and given my absence from working on Warhammer in general for a few years, I'm still warming up to the more recent cold ones.

The Warriors certainly could use an update. The Knights I would have agreed before painting mine up, but afterwards, I've actually gotten quite attached to them. They have a certain charm. [IMG]

you keep your Knights in the fridge?

Also where did you get the flowers? I haven't found a decent place for that yet.

Maybe the flowers grow in the fridge? :p

Kidding aside, i mostly use aquarium plants for flowers and stuff like that

As Wazz said, where else would I keep cold ones? :D

The plants were the result of a few trips to various discount shops in my area looking for really cheap plastic plants. Some were aquarium plants, but those are usually more expensive. Once I found suitable ones, a glue gun attached them to the base and I gave the plants a single coat of Athonian Camoshade to cut down on their shine.

If GW were to release new seraphon models I think they would go with the rise of sotek, and design models in his image such as celestial serpents, I'm fairly certain sotek wasn't consumed during the end times.

    I’d like to see some

-Heavy Calvary - maybe small stocky dinos like triceratops? Heavy armoured lizards on top.

-Some form of war machine (that isn’t mounted)
Maybe a sunleech firing device - flaming shots kinda thing.

-Some sort of ambushing predator/monster, if you’ve seen the new Jurassic Park film - think the IndoRaptor :) kinda like a vargulf, lone hunting dino.

-Defo skink heroes and swarms back.

-More snakes! We have none, think we should at least have some. - lord Marcus I agree on snake ridden cav (was going to convert that myself actually, but couldn’t get hold of the miniatures I wanted to make them from( the khemri guys, sepulcher guard or something of the ilk)

I wouldnt mind see Saurus become more like Orruk Brutes to be honest.

Definitely need more serpent looking models too.

Depends how they take the lore i guess

For Heavy Cavalery or the war maschine, both could be a brachiosaurus :D.
Protoceratops (the little version of triceratops) would be a faster and more armored version.

for ambush you could use Utharaptoren, like Indoraptor from jurassic park in a pack. or for one
    big guy a Spinosaurus.

And what is about the real stegosaurus? A stegadon is a triceratops.
We need the spiki big guy :D

    Or what we totally missing:
    A saurus magician!
we have only skinks and the slanns, not a single saurus with magic.
i mean, an oldblood or sunblood are have 1000th of experience in battle,
not a single one could get some magic trick learning from his slann?
or an eternity warden who are with his slann for 100 of years, protecting him
    and learned something?

wouldnt it be cool to see? A saurus magic champion, who cannot unbind, but can
deflect magic to the caster himself? like a cristal shield powered by magic.
