Sorry... didn't manage to get it completely done... or take pictures of it's recent progress... a wave of shit came across my real life recently... I'm order to prevent my wife from giving me the papers I had to invest some hobby time in her pleasure...
First one to vote! Some really great entries. Congrats to everyone for all the outstanding work!!! @Chicken Lips : Simply stunning. The colours, the base, the pose and the execution are all top notch. The paint job really conveys a sense of feeling and setting. If I were to pick up the model I would expect it to be cold to the touch. I especially love the work on the tusks. The great photography also deserves to be noted. @Joshua Horchler : That orange Stegadon really pops! So much depth and contrast. The coloration on the skinks is sublime and works well with the entire model. A very unique theme! Great basing too! @Ritual : Lovely smooth transitions throughout the model. A beautiful harmony of colours that creates a wonderful contrast to the chaotic nature inherent in Gobbos. Very well executed. I must say that it was really tough choosing my winners. A case can be made for each and everyone of the entries as they all bring something beautiful and unique to the contest. Special mention to @Crowsfoot whose entry takes my runner-up 4th place position (just narrowly defeated by @Ritual ... it was EXTREMELY hard choosing one over the other). Last but not least, thank you to @Lord-Marcus for hosting yet another great competition. Your efforts are appreciated (even if you disallowed my chaos warhounds from entering ) Good luck to everyone!
I understand your situation entirely. Would you like me to remove you from the vote? I am quite happy with keeping you if that is your wish.
Well... as it's not finished it's not really a valid entry... and I don't want to steal votes from others... on the other hand I don't know when I'll be able to finish this model and if it's ok according to the rules I'd keep it in... maybe I'll manage to get you a picture of the assembled version of it then... Act as the rules dictate you to act...
Ritual, Batch and warden. I really wanted to vote for myself... but I just couldn't... the level of skill here blows me out of the water. Rituals Spitting froghemoth literally looks professional... like I expect that to be in the battletome. Batch your Dread saurian looks like it has real skin... and lets face it we all play Seraphon cuz we are kids that never grew out of the "DINOSAURS ARE AWESOME" phase... and its the biggest baddest dino we have! Warden I loved the customization and alteration to the model... definitely have to look at some of your stuff for ideas as I gain more experience as a modeler/painter
