When done right, Bretonnia is always beautiful.
But it's difficult to take seriously that squirrel... :D

In order to be the squirrel knight, you have to ride one first! :beaver:

Yes it is, done by some great Bretonnian master who I couldn't find the name of. Especially the fancy piece of cloth connected to the horses mouth!

I have been looking up miniatures depicting the Battle of Agincourt on pinterest recently... and I have found lots of great stuff!

What would you all say is the Warhammer Fantasy army that most deserves a new line of models from GW, out of all the defunct or incomplete or unrealized armies? Besides the Tomb Kings, because I can guess at what answer Marcus is going to give unless I count them out.

Tomb Kings are actually pretty complete. They could have used an update on their core skeletons and the odd model here and there, but other than that they are in pretty good standing.

I think poor Bretonnia could have used a major overhaul. Their models are so old and they suffer from a very limited selection.

Agreed. All TK really needed in terms of new models was updated Skeletons that looked more like the VC Skeletons in terms of sculpting but obviously with TK Banners, armour and shields. What they needed more was updated profiles so that Necropolis Knights would be more devastating now that more recent Monstrous Cavalry have eclipsed them, a summoning mechanism more like VC and some more unique rules that set them apart from VC, perhaps one that highlighted the actual loyalty of the Nehekharan undead to their kings, which VC units wouldn't have as they were summoned unwillingly by evil Vampire spells.

I actually disagree here in terms of existing plastic model overhaul - their knight models and even the men at arms look so much more human than the hideous Empire State Trooper half-troll models, despite being many years older. The sculptor of the Empire infantry really went overboard in making them look like peasants, going too far in fact in my view - they just look so gaunt and some of their facial expressions look ridiculous, compared to the Bretonnian peasant bowmen and men at arms who actually resemble ordinary people. The older set of plastic state troopers for Empire actually looked more 'normal' in my view.

However, I do agree that they needed more new units and more metal units becoming plastic - plastic Mounted Yeomen, Trebuchet, Grail Knights and Questing Knights would have worked wonders, along with some new units like Foot Knights, a Bombard to give them a really powerful but immobile cannon, Hippogrpyh Knights to give them some more potent monstrous cavalry, and some more characters.

I also think that Beastmen should have had some additional plastic models - Centigors, Tuskgor and Razorgor chariot box and additional plastic characters to name a few.

Have y'all seen those Elven Dragons you can order soon?

I admit I never liked Warhammer Dragons. Too much neck, too fragile looking head, too snake-like, almost no body.
Not my style. The worst one is the green one.
That Forgeworld Carmine Dragon and espevially the Magma Dragon are a bit better.

You mean the Wood Elves forest dragon? I love that model.

    A lovely model!
