More like bootiful am i rite guyz? Seriously though, it was a fun miniature to paint, and there's plenty more questionably clothed battle nuns coming to my paint table for April. Also, I thought I'd post a quick shot of all the figures I painted this March.
Sometimes you don't pick up a paint brush for 3 months and wake up with a bunch of grots on your painting table.
So I've gotten away from Age of Sigmar recently, and I've returned to the greatest game ever made - Blood Bowl. Working on my Amazon and Human teams, and I have some figures in the mail for a Lizardman team. Painted up two star players (Roxanna Darknail and Karla von Kill) for my Amazon team, as well as an Amazon linewoman. I've really been working on THINNING MY PAINTS and working on flesh tones. I'm fairly happy with the results.
Very nice work. I've always found skin tones to be very difficult and especially on female models. They're looking good!
Not too much different once you get the primer coat on. The paint is more prone to chipping and rubbing off but that's avoidable if you varnish properly and treat the model well.
Best thing to do with metal models is wash them in warm soapy water and scrub them with a suede brush, multi part models wash them before assembly. It just helps the primer adhere.
Finally converted my Lizardman team. Still have more skinks I can throw on the roster, but here's my basic 11 player line up. I also converted dark elf sorceress wizard/assistant coach that I kitbashed a football into her hand and rebased an old skink priest I painted a few months ago to be a wizard/assistant coach figure for my Lizardman team.
