Here is my “best” skink that I have been working on, he is my second Seraphon model.

I also tried to covert a Skink Oracle into a Skink Priest, I put him on a Oldblood Shield :D because feet are weirdly angled.

    Nice work so far!

I would recommend complimenting the red color scheme with a healthy application of a wash, such as the red wash from GW paints (Carroburg Crimson) to really bring that detail out :artist:

Thank you and luckily I do have carribourg crimson, however do you know where I should apply it and should I put washes after dry brushes or before?

I always put the washes on before drybrushing. This helps the darker wash seep into the recesses.

After the wash is dry, then very lightly drybrush on the highlight/lighter color paint.

Not especially - it looks pretty good to me. If you want more, you can get a set of Gryph Hounds relatively cheaply compared to a lot of GW’s other stuff. Otherwise, a good base never goes amiss, but mainly keep up the great work!

You could adjust the leg positions a but to make it fit the Gryph Hound's back a bit better.
For my Capybara riding Skinks I did that by just cutting the legs off at the thigh and glueing them back on in a different angle, to make the gap between the rider and the mount smaller.

But then your Skink is already painted, which would make me a bit reluctant to go back and cut stuff off. :D

Thank you for noticing! I believe dry brushing is one of the most key techinques in painting. :D
