Thank you I know. I still need to add the purity seal (Mat varnish), maybe that helps trim down the shinny-ness... Gr, Imrahil
if you lose a single piece your screwed xD, be careful with those guys. I guess you could greenstuff some items in
Yea I can see that also the glue on the base, I reckon this would be an easy fix if you used some bush type things and it would look a bit cleaner, but it doesn't really matter since the model is the main part (which looks great btw) I know this is a bit annoying but im going to recommend a product to you, ever since I bought it i have used it on every model and it never lets me down - Its called 'woodland scenics bush foliage and it looks like this, I got mine on Goblin Gaming which is a hobby store thingy https://www.goblingaming.co.uk/search/bushes/ just get it were its the cheapest.
Thanks for your advice i will look into that. For now i am working on 10. I have another 12 waiting. Gr, Imrahil
Yet another blast from the past: An army i had/have big plans for, but never got around to start it up properly. So most of the ideas are still in my head but you can take a look at them as is. High Elf Seaguard Total army picture Seaguard king(?) and his banner bearer (conversion of a crewmember from the Skycutter and banner) Seaguard unit from the starter box 'Island of Blood' High elf Mage and Lord on Griffon also from the 'Island of Blood' Starter box Conversion (one i am really proud of and i want to do it justice by not finishing it up to quickly) of an Dark Eldar Raider into a Seaguard battleship. Members, bolt thrower, sail and extras are from the Skycutter. The navigational orb is from the Collegiate Arcane Mystic Battle Wizards set (was laying around anyway ) the 'wooden' floor panels are cut up cardboard. I had have some problems with the back of the ship, I had to cut out all the thrusters and other mechanical stuff... covering it up has not been a success yet. Let me know what you think Gr, Imrahil
They look really cool - particularly the conversions! If you do restart it, some of the Idoneth stuff looks like it would fit right in too!
After playing the High Elves (which I previously didn't like much before) in TWW2 I do have a soft spot for them. So I am looking forward to seeing them painted.
Just a status up-date (since these pictures, yesterday, all warriors have a red back now) WIP: Saurus Warriors Gr, Imrahil
that is an awesome conversion, I thought I recognized it from Dark Eldar , its really fustraiting the way GW just abandoned bretonia, highelves and dwarfs. . luckily conversions and models from other websites can still save people that have that army. - dragonguard-regiment and I'm sure there are tones of other websites that sell cool miniatures for the army.
Though not the time to paint i did find my first ever diorama. So i took some pictures, enjoy Temple Ruins Gr, Imrahil
Keen eye All WIP still waiting... along with 12 additional Saurus Warriors, Starpriest, 15 Saurus Knights, Sunblood conversion, Carnosaur with Scar Vet and Oldblood(interchangeable), Oldblood on foot conversion, Slann Starmaster and a Skinkpriest on a Leviadon/ maybe it will be a Slann riding it... not sure about it yet Lizard overload Gr, Imrahil
I did get some work done Friday (at the somewhat local store) and just now. All scales and skin of the Saurus Warriors unit are done WIP: Saurus Warriors Now onto the weapons and armor. Hope to finish up in time. Gr, Imrahil
