Don't worry. A moderator can either merge the posts into the other thread, or delete them. In fact I could try to do it, I haven't merged threads yet... In a pinch we just do nothing and let the thread just drop into obscurity, no harm done. Merge done. ...not exactly how I thought it would work. Should probably have copied the posts over and deleted the other thread instead of just merging...
oh goodness i hope so i love our builder friends but ive been holding off for lack of skill with model work.
I hope the new model will be an Ancient Salamander, would make an awesome edition if they remake the salamander hunting packs too! Image the kitbashing we can do with those new models!
Or a Seraphon warband with a Cold One hound or something - remember one of the non-Chaos factions was never teased.
Cmon' y'all don't give up hope. The Facebook post has hundreds of comments mentioning it looking Seraphon. (400+ comments at this point) Even IF it doesn't end up being for us at the very least the community team is now VERY aware how much people love their lizard bois.
If the warhammer community doesn't know about this website they are blind. I thought this as one of the largest discussion forms for a warhammer faction outside Reddit and dakkadakkadakka(which is geared towards 40k) I could be entirely wrong tho.
Seems a bit too big for that though. Unless those warbands aren't going to stick to human-ish-sized stuff and also include horse-size stuff or larger
Its a skink chief character riding a razordon mount 1) We have a high model count already (yes it's in resin but there is no arguing that we have a lot of models already) 2) How do you add a new model without adding new models? Add a character as they're once-offs 3) We don't need another wizard but we could use a real skink hero 4) The Generals Handbook is printed already which would have had to have points cost for a new unit wheras a character can be dropped in more easily 5) Razordons are so popular yet the model is so horrifically ugly and expensive 6) The idea of riding a razordon is hilarious
I hope so too. There so much information posted here and tons of experience/theorycrafting and just general geeking out. I hope they reference the site when making our book. (WHEN not if )
Guess what the Eavy Metal team has been painting... 1:50-2:05 mark Originally found on: https://war-of-sigmar.herokuapp.com/ Not confirmation by any stretch but they are a very busy bunch and I don't imagine they were just picking any old models to test the range on. Note the "really good" part; perhaps a multi colour Slann or (dare we hope) a NEW Slann?
Meh, given the sheer volume of stuff they paint I wouldn't be surprised if they had a decent chunk of freedom when testing paints. Plus, as long as a range doesn't flat out get discontinued they can Always find some use for it given the sheer amount of pictures and whatnot needed for white dwarf or displays at events and such. Plus, a slann is a fairly decent practise model, loads of different types of things to paint on a single model (skin, rock, metal, etc.) while also not being terribly large.
being a lazy battlefield painter i do see a place in my life for the contrast paints and can imagine knocking out whole units in the afternoon with batch painting and a return to white undercoats
They do indeed seem really nice for large batchwork with few details on the models. Though I fear it won't do much to help the worst units the paint; batch-work with loads of details and contrast between the details like tzaangor...
Seraphon has so many colours and painting scheme possibilities, I'm not suprised GW team choose our models to practice with Contrast.
Just to reaffirm the point people are making about how it makes sense to use Lizardmen, the latest contrast video features a Slann too at 1:21
