Hey, I have another question: do you guys find it easier if you paint the shields before you glue them on? I glued the shields on my Skinks before I painted them, and it was kind of a pain to paint around them. I was wondering if it would be advantageous to do the same for my Saurus warriors, Sarus Cavalry, etc.

I personally just dip them in a can of Snot Green and use Dark Angels Green.

It is easier to do them when they are on the model.

i find it easier to paint models bit by bit, except some others that are not that hard to get around.

it's one of those age old questions. it really comes down to personal preferance.

I like to assemble everything then paint. I think the primer bonds the miniture togeather a little better. I would sugest to try both ways and see which one you prefere.

    eh I said both ways.

    Ok i need sleep.

same here. I always paint shields seperate. I also paint standard bearer arms seperate. Just do what you find easiest.
