Wanted to test out some big dinos and finally get around to trying the Sunclaw Starhost. Allegiance: Seraphon Leaders Slann Starmaster (260) Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160) Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (240) Saurus Sunblood (120) Battleline 30 x Saurus Warriors (270) - Clubs 10 x Saurus Warriors (90) - Clubs 10 x Saurus Warriors (90) - Clubs Behemoths Bastiladon (280) Bastiladon (280) Battalions Sunclaw Starhost (130) Endless Spells / Terrain Chronomantic Cogs (80) Total: 2000 / 2000 Extra Command Points: 1 Allies: 0 / 400 Wounds: 98 The idea would probably be to teleport the 30 man block w/ the Sunblood (great rememberer = 2 ports), cogs for the bonus charge. Sunblood's CA to re-roll all hits and smash something good. Double Bastil for ranged harass on priority targets - max summoning points to bring in another Carno if needed, or another full block of saurus (if the 30 man block gets squished) Thoughts/comments/criticisms ?
Welcome to Lustria. Looks like a fun 2k Sunclaw Starhost. You could seriously put some hurt onto a Demon army. It might be worth further optimizing the list by dropping one of the Bastiladons to add in a Skink Starpriest, BwV and some Razordons.
Thanks for the warm welcome I normally run the BWV, but really wanted to try the sunclaw strike. So i've dropped 1 of the 2 bastil's and added the Starpriest, the BWV back, and a unit of ripperdactyls in (i dont own razordons sadly haha)
