Okay, so i've got two ideas for conversions: First, Gor-Rok: Basically he's a Scar Veteran with a plastic saurus warrior mace. The shield, however, is the best part, in my opinion. It's two stegadon howdah plates (you know, the half circle ones), with geen stuff filling the middle hole. Keep in mind, you'll have to file them so it'll fit. The second one is a Salamander conversion. First, take a flesh hound, file/cover up the chaos symbols, and attach one of those masked cold one heads from the COC sprue; you'll probably have to use green stuff to fill in the indentation on the head to make it fit and give it more contact, though. Does anybody else have any Lizzie conversion ideas? If so, lay 'em on me!
Interesting ideas. I have made a Lord Mazdamundi conversion. It comprises of the new Stegadon, with only the smaller front howdah part. Replacing the large howdah, is the Slann Mage-Priest palanquin, but instead of the arching back, I replaced it with the circular Engine of the Gods piece. It looks quite impressive, and the height on the model is great. :-D
I wish I could, but I don't have access to a good camera. Perhaps in the future I will, but I doubt it will be painted, maybe just primed
But, to give you an idea of what a Mazdamundi might look like, check this out: http://lustria-online.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2194
I'm converting tyranid gargoyles into terradons; body and wings from the gargoyles, as well as the head crest. The rest of the head and arms with spears from saurii. I'm thinking of a half- to threequarter inch neck... we'll see how this goes in the future, a thread will be posted. Another newly started project is to convert Kroot Hounds into sallies/razordons. This one seems to be easier, as the basic bit will be adding a tail and a few scales to the models, and then distinguish each sort with a "sail" or spikes along the spine.
