As the "classical" animal Salamander was thought to be a lizard living in lava pools (hence asbest was thought to be salamander skin, way back when), and they in WHFB spit fireballs, I thougt it might be a good idea to make my sallies in much the same way: glowing. Now, as quite the noob, i need some tips for painting glowing creatures. Their inner light cast off onto the handlers and the base is a sure thing, and I've found plenty of tips for how to make that look decent, but the sally itself is another thing entirely. Anyone have good tips for painting it? A fair guess would be white, yellow, orange and some darker red or brown, with the lighter colors showing in the cracks... Pics would be awesome.
