The same can be said about the new Mortisan Soulmason model, but people will buy it. To each their own I suppose. Personally, I wouldn't buy either of them!

Time told us that the Superman walker was not a good idea.
Maybe the Mortisan Soulmason will do better. Maybe. :p

IDK, I bet they sold a bunch of those Superman walkers back in the day. At least the Superman walker has the excuse that it was created in the 80's? 70's?

The same reason why Rambo needs an assault jet with barely a windscreen for a canopy, or why Hulk needs a personal helicopter.

In fairness at least the soulmason isn't some overpowered superhero that can outrun his own walke with ease (as well as fly and whatever else)
It's just kind of a weird one, even for 80's toys.

What is he doing in that area to begin with? :p

At least the hulk can't fly (usually), so a helicopter does technicly add something (even if he has other powers that'd make the thing redundant).
And Rambo is merely uncomfortable in his jet then, also rule of cool :p

He was obviously lured there by some evil schemer.
When superman is in danger, he calls the Walker, that (tnx to its automatic pilot), walks from the Fortress of Solitude to the area where it's needed.
That journey alone requires a LotR trilogy to be narrated properly.
In the meantime, superman is able to survive because the evil guy is doing a monologue.

But what if the only way to get to superman is to take the stairs? :p

I agree that it is a weird one. Now I'm a little bit curious to know how and why it was used within the context of the show.

    I sense a thread derailment...

Please can we return to talking about GW new releases on this thread, and move this Superman discussion to one of the General Chat threads?

    I blame @NIGHTBRINGER. :p

Anyways, has anything new popped up yet so we can talk about that instead of this bone construct and his stroller?

Nope. GW seem to think it's fun to troll people expecting them to release something long-expected on Saturday by instead releasing yet more pointless Space Marine Codex Supplements.

I didn't even know that Superman walker existed prior to it being posted on this forum.

Person A: "You guys are derailing the conversation, let's get back to the original topic of the thread"

Person B: "Okay! What is new in regards to the thread topic? What aspect of it shall we explore?"

    Person A: "Nothing"

Person B: "Soooo... I guess we'll just wait here then"

    Person A: "Yes"

    Person B: "In silence?"

    Person A: "Yes"

    Person B: "...."

Person C: "imma summarize this silence" :p

Sometimes make me wish they announced stuff in quicker succesion. Or at least didn't really do stuff like this one where it's just 1 model. Not a whole lot to say about that.

you can order now the 2020 calendar.
In the AoS one, Seraphon are not included, not even as sparring partners in one of the 12 months. How disappointing.
(i know you already knew it, but hey)

On the bright side, i am not tempted to give GW also those money.

To be honest the most dissapointing bit about that calander is that there doesn't even appear to be any new art on it.

If people are willing to throw money at it, then there is little incentive to innovate.

So feast of bones turns out to be a boxed set. New undeath nonsense vs. ogers. Turns out the regular ogers and beastclaw raiders are being combined into one faction. Which imho is a bit weird. The regular ogers don't seem to mix very well with the whole neverending winter thing beastclaw has going on.

Box itself looks decent I guess. Especially the ogors looks decent. Mostly cuz they're all relativly elite, so a small boxed set like this quickly amounts to a fairly decent force.

Also we get a hint at what the new undeath's terrain piece does. Apparently it does a lot:

So that kinda sounds like the new flavor of the month broken nonsense :p
