What if we improved cats. I used to like cats and dogs equally. Then I did a bunch of cat sitting for a friend after two instances where a cat goes from cuddly and affectionate to murderous with no warning. "I must have five pets. Four is inadequate. Upon reaching six I will murder all humans." Also I wasn't sure if I include Zefrank1's Cats and Dogs in Therapy. I did Cats in Therapy back on page 72, so here is Dogs in Therapy
Boooooo! There is no "better". You have to ask "what for?". Most dogs cannot even use a toilet for example. That alone makes cats a lot better in my view. The cat doesn't need me to go and take a s***. As history has shown us, both cats and dogs have been useful and (probably for that reason) successful. They both fill a niche. It is easy to make lists of things that dogs usually can do and cats usually cannot, and vice versa. Whether one is "better" than the other depends on the priority those things have for you.
Why is that? Some of those videos are pretty hilarious IMO. Edit: btw that's IMO not true for that particular video, but others.
His arguments are less then rigorous, and often with his stuff on dinosaurs he is flat out wrong. He also has an arrogance and mammal bias that leads him to totally underestimate other creatures in their abilities
As a mega nerd seeing bias in what is perceived as science gets under my skin, and unfortunately for tierzoo he is really really biased in some of his videos
You can like him, I respect his content but you probably should not accept what he says at face value as very often his research is less than thorough
Are you referring to the things he is stating as facts or the conclusions he is drawing from those facts?
Mostly his conclusions but he has gotten some facts horrendously wrong, especially in his videos on paleontology
Yeah his conclusions may be fun but some of them are really biased and not very scientific. He really seems to like mammals and hates reptiles , especially lizards which are highly successful With his facts it is sad. This includes really basic stuff which pains me to see the lack of research he did on the topic.
Mammals are pretty dominant. I don't believe he is wrong in that regard. In many echo systems the mammal is the "top dog". Not to mention that mammals boast the most powerful build of all time.
