    How did she get the free ticket? Twas a rumor that Disney was giving out free tickets like candy to push up the first week box office returns...

    That's how I felt too.

    From work.

    That's the rumor I heard with Captain Marvel. I even talked to someone personally who went to a "nearly sold out" show that was pretty much empty.

    The key piece of damning evidence is that tons of theaters sold their most unpopular seats (the back corners) first.

    I don't know about the rest of you. I don't buy tickets in advanced very often but when I do, I want a center seat!

    I enjoyed the first Kelvin timeline movie, next two were a bit boring. Can't really replace Montalbon in my opinion... and I haven't seen the new TV series yet. Eventually I may watch it.



    The Star Wars saturation in this thread is high, someone's gotta do it! :vulcan:

    I don't care much where I sit.
    I am not a fan of going to the cinema anyway. I mainly go there to watch movies that I am interested in (a.k.a. Star Wars movies, I haven't watched anything else in years) to avoid being spoiled.
    For me cinemas are too loud, smelly and expensive, I prefer watching movies at home.

    People seem to interact more with the Star Wars content than the Star Trek stuff. Same goes for dedicated Star Wars threads and dedicated Star Trek threads.

    Same here.
    My main gripe is the speed. The plot just advances too quickly, which - for example - causes problems with both Rey's and Finn's character development.
