Valentines day is a lie, and is the primary cause for the spread of disease. purge the products in fire!
I'm married and I still don't like it (either does my wife). The whole day feels fake, a commercial holiday masquerading as a day of love. It's phony.
Considering that it's supposed to commemorate a saint who in life was persecuted by the Romans for secretly marrying early Christian couples, the day has about as much to do with him as St Patrick's Day has to do with the first bishop of Ireland.
Same. My wife and I usually ignore it. We do go out for dinner on the 15th - the day AFTER Valentine's Day, but that's because it is the anniversary of the day we started dating, not because of Valentine's Day.
If the batteries were properly in their original plastic casing, I'm always okay stowing them away for a rainy idea. I'm not sure if it's true but I remember being told that batteries out of the packaging will slowly lose their juice even if not in use. The (appropriate?) abbreviation for Valentines Day is VD.
