Hello fellow skinks, I'm kinda new here but recently I've seen lots of people talking about a new battletome. I actually have an insider of my own and he says the current plan is that the battletome will release around the end of February or early March. This information may change if it gets delayed but it is likely not going to change. I also think that we will get a new model since we games workshop has introduced 1 new model when they updated factions that haven't been updated recently. However I dont know that a new model is coming out for sure. Any1 else have any information regarding a seraphon update.
I'm fairly sure we have been delayed multiple times at this point, similar to what happened to sylvaneth, the difference being they were announced and we are not. Not sure if any "insider information" can be trusted as we have seen multiple ones turn out to be little more than hopecrushers.
i have had "reliable sorses" say that we are coming out at the beginning and the end of January and February sometime in march and July so at this point i've given up on speculation.
Thing is tho they rly can't delay us any longer considering we and nurgle r the only 1s who need an update and at the start of 2019 their sole focus is to fully update every faction so...
On your side tho we have only have 1 seraphon looking leak which is this rumour engine. To those who say its the slaves to the darkness karkadrak, its not look at the 2 pics . Karkadrak has spikes and underbelly is different.
While it’s a nice thought, GW seems keen on delaying us for as long as possible with new factions being thrown out there.
Under normal circumstances I would be excited, but at this po8nt I think they are very intentionally delaying us. time to start a revolution
It feels like the Vegas reveals on 25th is plausible but unlikely. If we’re getting an update in February, that’s where it’ll be announced and we’ll know in two weeks time. It’s far more likely that we’ll see something at Adepticon. This is the safer event to pin hopes on, if you’re done with being disappointed!
that's not Seraphon, unless they are gonna completely change the way dinosaur skin is on the bottom half. that's a remodel for a pointy elf dragon/hydra the other difference is we know WHY Sylvaneth were held up... tariff and trade issues between America and the EU
I mean we can start a rebellion and send games workshop like 50 emails from different people about the whole thing. Like surely gw would gave to respond and take action if they receive a ton of emails about people getting annoyed at waiting almost 5 years for a new book.
Well the Eldar players have been waiting about 20 Years for new Phoenix Lords and GW doesn't care... but sure we could do that. Or stay in character and patiently wait like a Slann for the plans of the Old Ones to unfold!
Well damn you are right, ours are 17 years old, its 2020, I always forget that the 90ies are looong gone. The Eldar players have been waiting for nearly 30 years now, almost all of the Lords, apart from Jain Zar, are from 1994 when their 2nd Edition Codex for 40k was released. But Topic related, the guys I talked to in the GW store said the release will be soon aswell. Could be Febuary or end of March, we will see.
I mean if we want to do this we need a lot of people like atleast 20. Unfortunately as far as I know there are only 2 seraphon players where I live so it’s rly up 2 all of us. As much as how dumb this sounds it might actually work. Who’s in?
I have a feeling that there were plans for a minor update with spells and a Battletome, but things appear to have been delayed hopefully to better update the link and remove some finest models from the line. Basing this off of the fact that Seraphon had zero changes in the year end FAQ, and recent releases like the Gwaka'moli BB team... well one can hope we get something more comprehensive than the skaven release...
