I lost any faith in cats when I saw the body of a baby bird, it’s head bitten off and it’s organs spilled into the street. we found its brother which died shortly afterwards.

but the good news is that my doggo has prevented anymore bird slaughters by woofing at the cat.

The only time I've actually seen a squirrel get caught and squeak was with a cat. It was also a very squirrel which was sad. Though I have heard of a friend saying his dog caught a squirrel and released it.
