I quite enjoy that most of these memes are using the prophet. Just shows that even in meme form skinks are supreme!

Ah, gotcha. I'm unfamiliar with their stats, but I can see bad stats making the situation even worse. I hate how GW gets away with this too; make a cheaper, plastic alternative, yet charge even more than the previous iteration without making the in-game value worth the spike in price. I mean you could get 3rd party alts, but that won't change their practices or the prices...sigh/smh...

Oh wells. nothing you can really do once you're hooked on the plastic crack that is GW minis, haha!!

Hey. Just wanted to share something I noticed... Anyone notice that you can't order the Battle Tome.... OR Saurus Guard any longer. I understand the Battle Tome... but Saurus Guard also? The Blood Bowl Saurus do appear to be Saurus Guardish... I checked the both the UK and US sites... It's not that they are out of stock of the Saurus Guard, they've just disappeared with the Battle Tome. Are we finally getting new right-sized Saurus Guard?

    Am going crazy? Check..

Guys stop torturing yourselves. We are not getting any new models. China is shut down completely from coronavirus. Any miniature companies that get anything produced there will be running out of stock as restocks are not coming in. Could be a 2-3 month back order. Also as mentioned before, they will need to take stock out of the store to update new war scrolls assuming our book comes out soon.

I think someone has said this before, but what if, after all this waiting, the Battletome sucks........

Have a feeling that'll be the case...

But at least we'll have a new book. Wonder how much will be retconned.

GW just likes keeping a minimum stock, it's quite common for stuff to temporarly run out. Switch countries and you'l see some of the others still have them available.

Though It also makes me curious what the hell their method for stock keeping is. UK has the guards listed as out of stock, other EU countries do not, despite everything being shipped from the UK if you order online so presumably it's stored in the same place... They're weird...

Chinese companies only produces books, cards, and terrain for GW. All other models are made in house by GW.

Edit- On top of that, everything that would be released with us has ALREADY been made and been in storage for about a month. At the very least. We just saw a shipping manifest at the start of Feb for our Warscroll cards from China. Meaning any models that MIGHT have been produced are already waiting to be shipped to stores.

Sorry to say it pal, but you might be going crazy...lol. I jest of course, but I did just checked the US site and the Saurus Guard are still up, and in stock as a matter of fact. The battle tome is gone though and has been for about two weeks, maybe more. Don't worry though, a lot of us wigged out and "read" too much into that when it happened (ba-dum-dun, pssh!).

Regardless, the guard models aren't bad sculpts really and they're from the last update to the lizzie range back in the early 2000's. If anything gets updated, it'll be the regular saurus, skinks and/or the slann as these sculpts all predate the aforementioned range update.

Some positions may disappear because GW is doing some works with the site. There were other oddities like models not in proper factions category. And models doesn't disappear withour last chance to buy.

I know this is a little crazy but, I had a dream last night and at the time it was quite vivid - can't remember a whole lot now unfortunately.

I saw a page from the Seraphon Battletome. It was midway through the book, top of a left page. It was boxed and the text was something like a new list of terrain or one terrain piece with a section detailing how that piece worked with allegiances and how they were tied together, maybe how they would work with certain battalions. I think I remember a hero name along the line of Toqeer or Tok'qer. Might have seen a flyer like a Terradon or Ripperdactyl, could have been a hero on a flyer.

Yeah now that I typed it, it does sound crazy. I just want my battletome XD

Yeah, I can't wait either. There's been quite a lull in my GW hobbying since SOB came out. So much so that I used my normal GW money on Heroclix over the past two months. The horror!!! The Lizardmen are my first love and everyday I scour the internet for more news.

I'm definitely eagerly awaiting it's release. But I guess either I've just acquired a lot of patience from listening to the wisdom of the Slann, or I haven't been in the hobby as long as most of you and I don't have the weight of years of playing with an old battletome wearing me down. But either way, I'm not getting myself worked up over it, I just hope it's good when it comes out.

    I hear you!

I'm about to go to my first tournament and just started playing properly the last couple of months, I'm so eager to understand which of my units I should paint up first depending on what is good/bad in the upcoming tome...I guess doing them all is the safest option :)

I think Seraphon are like Star Wars; especially pre-2000 Star Wars. A fan-favorite faction. We've been waiting so long that fans have made their own fluff, rules, and minis. We have our own ideas and flavor of "seraphon". When we get something official it likely won't satisfy everyone (or many people?). A bit of a weak comparison, maybe. My point is that, like Star Wars, it's tough to please the fans.

I mean if have good writing is the standard and you can't do that, you have no place making movies in billion dollar franchises

And like Star Wars, it's especially tough to please fans if you offer them pure garbage.

Tried this and noticed that the only reason Temple Guard were not there was because you had selected Available to Order (which lists all the web store exclusive stuff) and Temple Guard are apparently not webstore exclusive. The Battletome has disappeared though.

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious the Sequel Trilogy is genuinely bad because of how universally hated it is, but the reason the franchise is in this mess is because of the toxicity of Original Trilogy purists.
