Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my post! I'm looking to craft a list so that I can have a clear purchasing guide towards 2k points of Seraphon. I really enjoy the saurus warrior models so I'm looking to make a frontline of spears with maybe some ripperdactyl support, if that is a viable choice. I plan to pick up a skink starpriest and a slann to have the theme of conjuring an army from the heavens. I'm not entirely sure how to craft a viable list as I mostly just build and paint what looks cool, so any help is appreciated. As a side note I have the start collecting box and have built the carnosaur with scar vet, but plan to get another box for the trog and more saurus.
Welcome to Lustria! You picked a fantastic time to get into Seraphon. Our new battletome comes out on the 14th of this month. It is hard to say what will be top tier. I would say it is very safe to get a Slann, Skink Starpriest, Skinks, and Trogglodons atm. Ripperdactyls and Terradons will likely remain strong, but everything at this point is just speculation.
Expect for carnosaurs. You can never have enough carnosaurs. It’s obvious that they will be the best although in all seriousness, like @LizardWizard said, it’s all speculation but it seems that saurus are about to be a lot more viable. also welcome to Lustria!
Thank you for the responses! I certainly hope saurus warriors become better, because I like the models a lot more than skinks to be honest.
Honestly, if you have limited funds, hold off on ANY purchases until the tome releases... one of the worst mistakes I have made with purchases in the past was buying something and then finding out it was worthless in game. (less a chance with Seraphon because im a dino nu but still)
