The entire Disney Star Wars saga is on the same level of Henry Cavil's mustache. I am not sure how to make that a meme, but the scene where they tried to CGI Cavil's mustache away was unspeakably bad. The movie was made worse by it's inclusion and since it started out the movie, it set a bad tone.
Nah, it would have been better it the Tyranids arrived after sensing Rey's ridiculously high Force sensitivity and just proceed to devour EVERYTHING
That makes sense as Disney Star Wars is controlled by bad fan fiction writers. There are two kinds of fan fiction: (1) Mary Sue/Marty Stu wish fulfillment fan fiction and (2) controversial character shipping fan fiction.
Sturgeon's Law (90% of everything is crap) in full force, really. With that said, sometimes the gems are worth the slog, and I've been able to find more than a few over the years that shaped up really well. Granted, none of them were the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. On another note, whilst this is a little old hat, John Boyega (Finn) didn't realize until pretty recently that he had quite the fan following as one of the more popular sequel characters.
