We haven't seen spells, full allegiance abilities, or half the warscrolls yet. Also, we got a lot more rend. and mortal wound output. In the current meta, that is massive!
You were rarely every rerolling 1s because you rarely ever took handlers, or were in an Astrolith bubble. You were forced to in Thunderquake. Now they just come with it at a decreased points cost.
I just want to know how saurus warriors turned out Are they still made of paper or can they actually fight things now?
Also their damage profile got tripled, with -2 rend 2dmg and better to wound! Would love confirmation about their wounds!
Razordons did not get -2 rend 2 damage. Unless I'm not following what unit you're referring to Edit: ah, the melee attack. Very cool.
They did on either their tail or bite attack. Not for the ranged, but now they're definitely more dangerous in melee.
Temple Guard getting 2 wounds is great, but I’m still concerned about Saurus. Given that they’re offering them for a measly 90 points for 10, I’m worried they’re still going to be horde material
Well, 40 per when you took them in max units. And 40 per back in GHB2018. But then you take them as a unit of 4. Which seems to be a thing again, but you have to bring the handlers too.
Never underestimate the lowly razordon in melee. I had one finish off a Keeper of Secrets in the fight round after it had charged into my lines. Got overwatched, dropped to like 1-2 wounds, then the razor slapped his cheeks.
