50 for a razordon/salamander, 40 for a unit of handlers I think. With a discount for razordons/salamanders if you took them in 4's. meh, it at least it ensures that you don't get 1 obvious best choice which is nice like currently where it's 90% skinks that get spammed. Though some options owuld've been interesting instead of none at all.
I think we will still have some good synergy with our command abilities and even battalions on top of the base stats. I think we really are missing half the puzzle when looking at the warscrolls without the commands, battalions, and other buffs that our heroes may give.
Troglodons regenerate 1D3 wounds if they roll 2+ in hero fase. 1 MW on top of damage if they roll 6 on wounds with their poison atack
Yes, i confirm it, it is 1d6 automatic. But while it's true that a full unit must take 12 wounds before you have to remove a razor, we're talking about 240 pts.
So a Stegadon or Carnosaur, from the price bracket page .... 3 Razors would be 9 wounds, and 9 skinks ifnits three Skinks a razor. So a total of 18 wounds for 240, with some decent shooting and melee?
Any idea what we're looking at for Saurus Warriors? tbh, if they're that cheap and got a 4+ save, I would be quite happy

Unfortunately if the Guard only have a 4+ I think the Warriors will still only have a 5+ save... which is saddening.
The really sad thing of all of this, is that there will be something good, but we'll be forced to play / spam that bunch of good units we'll be able to find within the nerf swamp. So, when everytime someone asked how to face something and the answer was "spam skinks and razordons" , with the new book it won't be all that different.
I would say the melee is not only decent but pretty good. It is at 66% of what morghast with Halbards do (they have 3dmg instead of 2dmg). For almost the same price, but add the shooting, the wounds and the "shield wounds" of the handlers.
SKINK STARSEER: It flies. Abilities: Cosmic herald: At the start of your hero phase, make a 1D6 roll. On a 4+ you get a CP. Staff: At the start of charge phase you can choose a friendly SERAPHON unit completely within 12 inches from this miniature. If you do, you can try to charge with that unit if it is at 18 inches or less of the enemy (instead of 12 inches) and make a 3D6 charge woll instead of the usual 2D6 charge roll. Control the destiny: Casting value of 7. Choose 1 unit within 18 inches from the caster that is visible to it. If that unit is an enemy unit, until your next hero phase it gets -1 to the save rolls. If it is a friendly SERAPHON unit, it gets +1 to saves.
First impressions look decent, I’m guessing that knights will now have a 4+, but it seems unlikely that they will get a third wound based on that price. However with coalesced buffs they could be pretty awesome. as for carnosaurs it seems that they will get more rend and a 3+, with Oldblood having something new
