I agree, our Mortal Wound output is very promising so far. Alos, jeeze, I step away for an hour and negativity sky rockets. We got this guys. With rend and MWs alone we are better off than we were before. And now and bind endless spell. Bound Emerald Lifeswarm is gonna make for some tanky warriors when all is said and done.
Maaaaybe (aka BIG IF). But even then, not more than one additional unit, I'd wager. Not sure if one MSU unit of Rippers would be a worthwhile target for such an ability. On the subject of Terradons, full unit + chief for maximum trolling potential.
Bye bye ripper -.-, The Knight is a fucking shit -.- GG GW you can make worst Sorry but i so angry with all -.-
No rend though. Not even on the charge...was there a subfaction rule previewed that granted rend? Or am I just remembering the saurus clubs?
Cant really read the rippers or terradon scrolls. Could someone please translate. Am I correct to say a unit of 6 terradons + 1 leader flies over a units and drop 7 bombs on a 2+ for d3 mortal wounds? For 250 points
Am I missing something or are Terradons basically the same for 30 points less? Except now a skink chief can make their mortal wound bombs land on a 2+? That's pretty good.... So for around 1300 points you could take 36 Terradons with 3 Terradon chiefs. with the bombs landing on a 2+ that means 30 out of those 36 terradons hit. Each one averages 2 mortal wounds meaning they arrive and delete 60 wounds worth of stuff. Then you throw 36d6 bolas which I'm guessing is going to do a ton more damage. Then your 36+3 Terradons pile in to combat and bog down the rest of their army with 123 wounds they need to chew through while you are putting out 165 melee attacks per turn.
They can still put out a lot of mortal wounds with a buff from a starpriest. Also didn’t one of the battalions give them mortal wounds on the charge?
But +1 dmg for Lances on charge. And my guess is that they can be buffed through some allegiance ability
It it does that is gonna be amazing. Terradons seems like the new strikers of the army. DT or FoS might be the way to go. And from the sounds of summoning you might be just as well off with a Skink Starseer and Trog as your are with a Slann.
Exactly this. Terradons are gonna be crazy. I have 2 boxes built and 4 boxes I have been siting on. They are deffinetly gonna be terradons by the sounds of things. Sorry to those who didn't want to run a 24 Terradon list.
What do you think about Sylvaneth as allies? Can they summon Wyldwoods as allies? They'd make a nice combo with the Realmshaper Engine...
12" is a pretty huge bubble. that's 12" in each direction so 24" across. Shouldn't be hard to pull that off.
