Hahaha!!! Yeah, they're not the best, but I'll admit I like some of their narrative campaign stuff...and they can be funny/entertaining a good bit of the time, even if it is because they're bad/miss stuff in their games lol.
Well each unit of knights can average around 10 mortal wounds with some skink starpriest help, and this isn’t even considering scar veteran synergies. So this could in theory do some wicked damage
They get rules wrong a lot. Also they have some less that great business practices from what I've heard.

Hi Guys and Girls! Is there anyone who has the points table to see which is marked as behemoth and artillery? And does someone know the summoning values?
Do we actually have the wording around placement of the terrain? Because these pre-reviews have been ‘inconsistent’ at best.
I like MWG too, but they definitely are a bit too lax on rules and get them wrong a bit more than they should, especially considering it's their job. In response to one point in the video though, they do have actual narrative campaigns which are kind of interesting. But yeah, not my go to source of accurate bat-reps. I just watch there stuff when I'm feeling like watching people throw some dice and field armies I like lol.
Will the new battletome be available on the AoS app once it’s released? I was thinking about just buying the cards and getting the digital copy of the book. bummed the eternal starhost got gutted, will this counterbalance their new buffs to make them near unplayable?
I'm pretty sure it just says, place it before placing all other terrain. That means it needs to be placed before sides are picked. This on top of the fact that it does not specify only Seraphon can enter which means also enemies can enter makes it complete garbage unfortunately imo.
Still waiting for some of the doomsayers for the new book to explain to me why "farting out a ton of skinks that could never be locked in combat" was a fun strategy to play. I look forward tonactually casting spells in the hero phase other than Vortex and Cogs.
Where are these terrain placement rules coming from? The are not on the warscroll and don't seem to match other faction terrain? Anyone seen an actual source?
So I'm thinking thunderlizard+ lord Kroak is probably the new build to go if you're not going a saurus heavy build.
and being usles is better? we didn't want it to stay the same but we didn't want them to burn everything to the ground and salt the ashes. some of the stuf got better some of it much better but it came at the cost of not fixing any thing else and nurfing so many things into the ground. we where alredy bad we didn't need for things to get worse
There's still a potential with skinks, their retreat ability is not on their warscroll anymore but the Fangs of Sotek command ability makes up for this a little allowing Skinks and Chameleon Skinks to shoot at the end of the enemy charge phase and then retreat on a +4. This kind of works considering how many command points a Seraphon player will be able to generate. This does not take away the fact that this is still a nerf to skinks but they are still cheap at 60pts. Just not an auto include.
