With MSU you risk losing your dudes before they have activated since they have almost no defense. Depending on how the opponent has lined up his models and how big the marked unit is, it might be difficult to get THAT many models wholly within 6” too. I really dont see the need for a FAQ. It is a warscroll ability so by default it counts per unit. The only cases of such things not stacking is auras. Tbh it isnt much more different than asking if a unit of 3 sallies shoot 4 times total, or 3x4 times.
did you miss the dumpster fire my thread turned into? if it were simple and explicit, it wouldn't be causing issues lol.
I suggest adding a Feedback section to any emails you send. I plan to send a bit more feedback over FAQs, though I did send them an email with the obvious questions. For Feedback: Make the Oracle cheaper. 200pts maybe? Give the Eternity warden a more defensive command Ability, like "Lock Shields - in the combat phase pick a unit of Sauras Guard wholly within 18" of a model with this Command ability. Until the end of the phase, add 1 to the Save rolls ofattacks targeting that unit, and reroll Save rolls of 1" Boom, usable in my opinion. Give the Chief a Drop Rocks ability like the rest of his Bois. Increase the amount of CCP earned by your general in a Starborne army to 3, from D3. Everything else can stay the same for earning CCP. Reevaluate the CCP Costs of units. 6 is fine for Skinks, but 30 for an Engine is a bit much. Tone it down to maybe? 10 for a number of units seems fine. Perhaps just bring the highest coats down to be more reliable turns 4-6. Just a few ideas. Edit- Another one. In a Starborne army, on the Engine of the Gods Celestial blahblahblah table, change the 13-17 result to "You may add 2D3 CCP to your total CCP".;
Once again, please, pay attention - the question about bastiladon is not about how it works. It is clear. The question if GW really intended work it this way. Example for Grey Knights Psychic Awakening. New rules allowed all units in the army receive cover bonus and -1 to-hit for attacks, that target them, even if they are partially touched a terrain piece. RAW it included even aircraft. It wasn't broken by any means and no one would bring flyer spam to a tournament, except for fun. But still, GW FAQed the ability to work only on PSYKER units, not on every unit. This wasn't to nerf strong combo, but solely because it wasn't the intent. They same could apply to bastiladon. GW could think, that 1+=2+, but reduce rend effect by 1. I want to clarify this. Better sooner than later. Good idea, but we really need good playtasting before that.
To the point of FAQs; do you folks think buying the warscroll cards is a bit pointless? I mean, there's a strong chance that some will get changed within a few months (or at the next GHB). I don't think that GW ever changes the ones on their site regardless.
I'm getting them just for the sake of having them. I like having the physical stuff for the sake of having it.
They're also easy reference, instead of always having to flip open the book. You can also hand them to people without handing your entire book over.
don't give up on them to fast krox are nice. they don't need to be buffed to be good like the rest of our army and if they fight 10+ models then they hit as hard as buffed warriors. i plan to use them as counter punchers hide them behind a unit thats about to die and then destroy what ever killed them
again don't underestimate the fact that you don't have to buff them. that means they can be sloted in where ever and they don't have to be your power card like stegadons and warriors do and lets you use your resorses elsewhere
Yes, every unit, that performs well and don't need CP is very precious. That's the power of Kroxigors. But, please, guys, let's stay on topic. We have like 3-4 threads to discuss units.
Saurus knights celestite spears 1 inch range whereas every other celestite spear is 2 inches. I’d like to know if it was intentional maybe a faq on that would be nice.
Do people just not like having okay units and want them FAQd so the can complain. Why does the Basty need a FAQ, surely the people arguing against it just need to actually read the rule book and how modifiers work. Pretty self explaining and nothing to OP about a 1 up save that drops to a 2 up after it takes a couple of wounds Yes until you have lost a couple of wound you only fail on natural 1s but again this is hardly broken as the basty is average. Its like we are the AOS CSM players... want to be nerfed so we can whinge. People would rather a unit made worse than admit that they have been playing rules incorrectly
It's just misunderstanding of how Rend works and the pervasive homeruling of it. That and people see something that on the surface appears OP, and immediately complain. Often,bits not truly the players of said army, but those directly adjacent or near.
Ok, third time. It doesn't matter, if Basti is broken or not (I don't think, he is). It doesn't matter if there are people, that doesn't understand the wording correctly - we always can explain them. Only one thing matters - if GW really intended it to be this way. Because if not - they will be nerfed sooner or later.
