    Dogs and monitor lizards are the best pets in my opinion! Dogs are obvious. They are extremely loyal and intelligent and if treated right are some of the most loving animals on the planet. Monitor lizards are essentially like having small dinosaurs as pets. Despite their aggressive predatory nature, they can be tamed to make incredibly friendly pets. Definitely high maintenance animals though, so not for everyone.

    I am a cat person.
    They are intelligent, athletic and lazy at the same time, fluffy, cute, clean, low maintenance, and real personalities. And yes they are ruthless killers, all predators are.

    Edit: I do like all animals, I just prefer Cats.
