Thanks I'm glad to help out. After I build it like this I did find this post by @ninjakeso: http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/what-are-you-doing-today-hobbywise.20843/page-96#post-323316 Which made me realize I made a mistake by gluing the horizontal bars to the Solar Engine. Luckily I could detach them. Just as Ninjakeso I used 1 extra set of magnets on the 'spine' to attach either the Solar Engine or the Ark of Sotek. After all not quite, I glued the bars to the Bastilodon and added the magnets to the Engine. I attached the 2 Skinks on the side to the Bastiladon. The one in the back for the Solar Engine and the 2 for the Ark of Sotek I will attach to said weapon. Grrr, Imrahil

They are done, and just in time for the monthly goals of April: Time to pick some new models to paint. I will take a break from Saurus Knights for now... still 6 unpainted I'm thinking of painting just 2 Saurus Warriors to round out the SCB Seraphon. After that I intent to start painting the SCB Ironjawz. Proper pictures will be taken in a while Grrr, Imrahil
They are done: My unit of 8 Saurus Knights for the SCB battles is done The Knights with lances And the command group And here the total of Knights I have done Grrr, Imrahil PS: I will (sometime) take some new pictures at daylight...
Hi @Imrahil. I had some questions about magnetizing your Carnosaur. I apologize if I'm asking something that has already been covered in this thread. I ask because I used just one larger magnet under the throne, but I needed to cut out part of the Carno spine to make it fit. Even though I'll never use the mini without the throne, I hated to wreck the general look/profile of the Carno model. I'm planning to get a second one eventually, and I am hoping to try a more subtle magnetization. -It looks like you just used 2 magnets, one on each corner of the throne, correct? -How did the magnetizing go on the Carno? Was it tough to get the magnets aligned correctly, so they snap flat? -What size magnets did you use, 3mm or 2mm? -Do you feel that the final throne and rider is stable and secure with just 2 magnets? One additional question: Do the magnetized weapon hands swivel or anything, or do they stay in place pretty well? Thanks!
Never mind feel free to ask Correct! I picked the points on the throne where they visibly molded it to counter the scales. Pick the exact same point on the scales and you should be fine. 2mm Yeah it will stay firm on it's place while moving him around the board. The magnets are strong enough to keep the weapons in place, you can tilt the weapon the way you like and it will hold. Good luck Grrr, Imrahil
You've got a lot going on there! I really like the look of your Saurus Knights, especially the whole lot of them together. That's a stampede of scaly coolness!
I also painted up my First Dryad, pretty Happy with the result. It's quite Easy and quick: Grrr, Imrahil

I love your saurus cold one riders! Despite the general derpiness of the lizardmen line of cold-ones, I do like how they look when painted well. Yours look fantastic, as does your carnosaur!
Blame the current boxes sold by GW Here is the rest of this month's goal: And here are all 6 for this month, maybe I'll have time to paint some More... Grrr, Imrahil
