I tried some cheap terrain building with materials from home and i thought i'd share it.

    Materials used:
    • card board
    • wood glue
    • sand
    • tissues
    • paints (Spray black, incubi darkness, fenrisian grey, white scar, flock)
    1) Cut and glue the cardboard in your prefered shape.

    2) Cover everything in tissues soaked with a mix of wood glue and water. Put some Sand where you like it.

    3) Spray it black, drybrush as you wish.

I love this idea. I took a couple hours and got a piece done. I'll probably make more, it's easy to do and goes fairly quick.
