Drew walks into the tavern with the bunny man, and in the back of his mind, Drew chuckles, thinking how weird it would look to see a 6 ft man walking into a tavern with a 1.5 ft bunny man. Drew keeps his eyes open for any signs of laughter, not knowing how the bunny man would take a joke about his size.
Bigbang, cautiously moves in to the tavern. From what he can see, it looks like nobody has noticed him. Looking around, he then hops up on Drew's shoulder and taps on his head, pointing towards the bar table
Drakk turns around with a smile before offering his hand to this new Kobold. Shaking his hand, Drakk exclaims "Ahh thank you for the information! I will definitely talk to my crew about this opportunity! Hopefully we can deal with this menace once and for all. Excuse me, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Drakk, and this is my associate Ohmen. Would you happen to know of any ships needing a crew? We have a fairly large group looking for employment."
Drew felt a little odd when the bunny man hopped onto his shoulder, for a second Drew tensed up, not knowing what the bunny man would do, but when the bunny man just pointed to a table, Drew relaxed and walked calmly over to it and sat down.
Hopping on to the table, Bigbang orders a pint of whiskey. When the bar tender asks him if he will be able to finish it, Bigbang laughs and says "i can down a barrel"
Big bang downs the pint in a few gulps, and to everyones' shock, starts eating the flagon, his teeth easily slicing through the pewter and wood
Izema takes the scrolls with a bow."thank you for your time, if you are in need of aid or just heavy lifting we will be in town for a few days. may you know where to place your feet."then tucks the parchment into his cloak.
Shiro bows to the trader: "May Law always find your coffers full and your scales damp and shiny. We thank you for your most gracious assistance. It is indeed our aim to end this evil for the settlement."
Shiro pats Izema on the shoulder as they walk away. "Well done friend, we are one step closer to ending this." Shiro feels a renewed sense of purpose, that feeling of clarity when a known goal is before him and a worthy goal set. As he sets off towards the tavern with Izema to find the others, he feels rather than hears a dark chuckle from the recesses of his mind. Shaking his head, Shiro looks around for the others as he walks.
Bigbang, having completely devoured the flagon, Bigbang turns to drew and asks "You going to eat that?"
Seeing the sorrow in the kobolds eyes the traveller approaches, the look of sadness on her face telling more than words could… "duguð.. (“I am not sure how much a poor and unemployed traveller like me can do.. But I can.. I will bring you proof… And know, not just for the reward that comes with risking life and limb… but for justice! Do you know where and what we may do to both help your peoples and enact justice to the Skcro, and make them see what they have done!")
Shiro and Izema, Master Trader Nazqua seems amused by your attempts at a blessing of your own and happily waves as you walk away. You have some information, true, and useful information at that. However, before you get very far, a kobold stops you, or rather, stops Izema. "I am sorry, you are Izema, yes?" When you reply that you are, the kobold hands you a scroll and walks away. Opening it up, it is written in Trader's Tongue. You are being summoned to the Harbormaster's Office. Bigbang, Drew, and Eugene, the innkeeper is annoyed that Bigbang is eating his tankards and insists they must be paid for. 5 sp per tankard. They are fairly heavy-duty as befits a port tavern, which explains the cost. That would be two such tankards for a gold. The whiskey, as a side note, is also 5 sp per tankard. It is a little hard to get here, and made from... well, some kind of root vegetable, but not a potato. You're not sure what was used. Carrots, maybe? Possibly a turnip or beet? It has an earthy tang you rather like. But you do not get very far into your your cups before a kobold enters the tavern. It looks around for a bit, then spies Drew. Walking over to him, he asks if he is, indeed, Drew. When confirmation is given, he is handed a scroll and told to report to the Harbormaster's office. A moment later he walks over to Tarkaz and does the exact same thing. Ohmen and Drakk, the kobold you are speaking with casts you both a grim smile. "I am going to hazard a guess that the two of you are Ohmen and Drakk?" When you tell him yes, (whether you want to or not), he nods and gestures to a pair of empty chairs. "Would you please take a seat? Your associates should be arriving soon."
Bigbang, surprised that the barkeep doesnt want to have his tankards eaten, pays 10sp for his snack. However, as soon as the bartender turns his back, Bigbang swipes a fork and devours it
Drew first looks at Bigbang, "ok you need to stop eating the tankards, ill be dry of money here soon." Drew then turns to the kobold, nods, and walks over to Tarkaz. "I'm assuming that the rest of our group has been summoned as well, so i guess we'll head to the harbor?" Drew talks to the innkeeper, "I apologize for my little friend here. here is the 2 gold i owe you, and here is one more for your troubles." Drew said as he lays 3 gold pieces on the table.
Bigbang looks over to drew "so uhm, we needed for anything? Or need to go anywhere, now that i've had a pint Im ready to head out"
‘Why yes.. Isn’t that a familiar name…” Motioning towards him They take a seat, leaning back before reaching out to shake the Kobolds hand In a relaxed, friendly manner. His mind working quickly, Ohmen takes a deep breath, easing into the situation surprisingly unalarmed… Allowing a portion of the innocence in their voice to gradually fade away they talk in soft-spoken traders tongue, having swapped the draconic to mirror the language of the one that they were speaking with. “Ohmen. Nice to meet you… What is the name you go by? And Know I do not wish to alarm you and that is all… Easier on the eyes this way. And of course, I have many questions… and I am sure you do too.” Meanwhile, Wisdom continues perched on the harbormaster's Office roof, her eyes cast skyward, looking out across infinity splattered with the shadows of far-flung distant islands. Opportunities.
The harbor master looks around for the large smelly neaderthal, and checking the ground see's the tiny rabbit "Hey wait a moment you aren't garutis, where is he?" "Hello harbor master I've learned that you were expecting a 6 foot tall neaderthal. Well we have him but he is in a deep food coma, and im going to take his place for the time being. We will still be taking him on the ship" Bigbang replies.
