Me: "I had two weeks of canned food just in case I'm forcibly quarantined or the grocery stores close." 2020: "I just knocked down umpteen power lines in your hometown! Enjoy eating your soup cold and while sitting in the dark. Now I'm going to end the streak of cool weather so you can sweat with out air conditioning." Me: "Well played 2020! I do have a manly backup plan....MOMMMY!!! Can I stay with you?" I am passive aggressive and stubborn, but I am pragmatic enough not to fight women over toilet seats directly. Every time I use the toilet, I close both lids. If I have to lift the lid to pee, so do the women of my family! (There is also a practical side to closing the seat. This avoids kicking up fecal matter or urine in the mist after flushing to eventually settle on your toothbrush). I'm going to have to use this one. In the Before Time, my friends and I would hang out nearly every Saturday. It often took us a long time to pick a restaurant. We have a system. Anyone can suggest any restaurant. If a person says "I do not want to eat at restaurant A." we except their veto but the vetoer is honor bound to say "How about restaurant B." Then someone says "I had restaurant B yesterday, how about restaurant C." We keep going till we find a restaurant no one objects to. One of my friend's wives obeys the protocol and will name restaurant D after vetoing C. Another of my friend's wives does NOT obey the protocol. That is frustrating. I am not sure this semi-famous quote is correct. “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” I am cautiously optimistic that the children born between 2010 and 2025 are going to grow up to be bad asses as adults. I probably won't be alive to see it, but I expect there to major societal advancements. Pessimists are happier than optimists. 90% of the time they are right. 10% of the time they are pleasantly surprised. Mahrlect! I don't know what you have more of "Hello There meme" or "Leonardo DiCaprio laughing impishly" memes! Branch out to different things! @Lizards of Renown, you are on fire on page 1010. A life well lived...
I had a good chuckle over this one. Well played. Unfortunately, I believe in this logic. I try to hope for the best, but assume the worst will happen and have some kind of a plan in place for it if I can. I have several friends in different places around the world and we share a love of meme's. This was a package sent over from a Canadian friend of mine. They gave me some chuckles so of course I shared them with the forum.
There will be more! And to answer your query, I have definitely posted more "Hello There" memes... far more!
