I convert a scene from A Long Journey by @Scalenex (April-May 2019 short story contest entry) to animation. Since this is the first time I try to make animation, there isn't much action and dialogue. I hope you guys like it. Spoiler: SPOILER For those of you who aren't familiar with the story. This is the scene when the skink chief challenged the saurus protagonist to a contest of ranged attacks, and lost miserably. note: I originally planned to make a fight scene, but later found out I wasn't skill enough to do that kind of animation. Therefore, I decided to create something simple yet interesting. And here it is. Thank @Scalenex for the story. It's definitely my most favorite short story.
holy crap! Insanely good graphics. This is a huge step forward for lustrian art. Next stop: blockbuster movies!
Yep, that's almost exactly how I pictured the scene when I wrote it. I'm glad you liked "A Long Journey."
Glad to hear y'all like it. Looks like my 6 months of work has paid off. I'd like to give it a try. If only I had a motion capture system... Keyframe animation is very time consuming to make. It would probably take me a decade to make a feature-length film.
Here are some ideas @Paul1748: Rogue Lizard: A Lustria Online Story Ratbusters The Lord of the Lizards Carry On Up the Lustrian Jungle There’s something about Mazdamundi Oldblood Brothers Dude, Where’s my Skaven horde?

Love it, especially the bit where the Skink scratches it's ear. The models are from Total War, right? I didn't know you could export them.
In my ideal world there would be a whole series of these, focusing on character, personality and funny interactions between different types of Lizardmen. Like a story of the Slann wants a drink with an olive in it like a martini, and the Skinks argue and run around and go to loads of work to get this drink and then the Slann just eats the olive and throws the drink away. Or a Skink has to oversee some Kroxigor repairing a temple and they keep messing it up. Or a Cold One training session and the Cold One just wants to chase sticks and act like a dog.
If you can turn your idea into a script, I may be able to make a animation out of it, no promises though.
