I have a friend who has had several cats over the years. He's the only person I've met that could call his cats by name and ONLY that cat would come running. I couldn't believe it.
Growing up, I had the opposite of this. As my chore was to feed the cats, I was the ultimate symbol of food so would attract cats like metal to a lodestone.
I watched my friends cats for about two weeks. One of the cats ALWAYS greeted me by the door as If if was the best ever. One ran away when I came near even if I was brandishing a tasty treat. The third cat, I only glimpsed once when a room by room search of the house. Basically I had to study the diminishing food bowl and filling litter box to ascertain that the third cat was still alive. But I really liked the first cat. I didn't have Netflix at that time and my friend did, so I binged watched Daredevil and the cat watched it from my lap. Whenever we play Warhammer at my friends house, the same cat will eagerly pick a spot to watch our game and yet never jumps on the table and knocks minis around. Greatest cat ever.
This is an amazing batch of memes! This one. I was at college and the animal shelter or some similar institution brought in puppies around finals week. The idea was students could use the puppies to de-stress. They had to rotate the puppies out because they were picking up on the human's stress and getting disheartened. Schedule conflicts prevented me from seeing any puppies myself. I never was super stressed at finals time. Yeah I crammed at whatnot but I was generally confident that if I hadn't learned the material yet, I wasn't going to learn it the night before. Now, term papers that's another story. All about procrastination and last minute panic.
