Thanks, they progress slowly, along with the other projects I am doing. You know how that goes Grrr, Imrahil
Hereby some things I worked on the past three days(during the little bubbels of time that I could find ): Some reinforcements for Minas Tirith and some scatter terrain. Grrr, Imrahil
Thanks I use left over parts from floor isolation, to be precieze: https://www.ikea.com/nl/nl/p/niva-ondervloer-80321587/ Grrr, Imrahil
Today I finally found some time to finish my 4 Orruk Ardboys: And here one with the whole band together: Only there actually is one guy missing(one in this band is from the Underworlds unit): The Icon Bearer is up next, along with the Warchanter and perhaps the rest of the Underworlds gang. Grrr, Imrahil
I also did some work on the Middle Earth SBG company of Rivendel: I'll need to match their bases with the current models(done with the previous Citadel line of paint): Grrr, Imrahil
That banner is $$$! It's not a trivial task to get black fabric to look like it has depth like that. The whole Red/Black/Yellow colour scheme in general just pops!
I finished painting my Battle Companies of Middle Earth for now. I am awaiting my order including Guards of the Fountain Court, which my Minas Tirith company has gained after last battle. So for the time being he will be represented by a Knight of Dol Amroth on foot Company of Minas Tirith: Company of Rivendell: Grrr, Imrahil
I still very much appreciate the amount of effort you have put into painting the stone bases for your Minas Tirith guys, really great
Thanks! I know you have got some street terrain parts, that looks very similarly except for color perhaps. I am planning to do some (more) terrain for these guys including streets and houses, perhaps even segments of the wall. TO much plans to little time Grrr, Imrahil
Just found some time to convert a Warrior of Minas Tirith with Bow to a Ranger of Gondor. Also needed for the Battle Companies campaign. I used some paper out of a college notebook, folded double and glued together with PVA glue, this also helps it set hard. Whilst still wet I created the folds and glued it at the shoulders. Now painted up. The base needs some attention, though Grrr, Imrahil
I like the cloak! Never tried anything like this before myself. The only thing I noticed that could possibly be improved for future cloaks is the back; I feel like there shouldn't be such an obvious crease in the center of the cloak (where his back would be) and the creases would be closer to the edges. That being said it still looks fantastic; spot on from the front. Well done
Thanks for your feedback, I see what you mean and will take it to mind for the next cloak I'll make Grrr, Imrahil
