Blog Return of Warmaster, tiny lizards are back.

This is all very impressive.

Did GW make any Warmaster Lizards back in the day? If they did I assume the prices for them on an aftermarket basis would be crazy/stupid.

Pendrake, they did, and yes they are very hard to get hold of these days. They made a Slann model about 15 mm high, and you'll pay more for it on ebay today than for the full size warhammer model!

 

WIP of a old courseway on my Temple Guard base. I will be placing a Slann in this area, but it was looking quite empty with just flat ground. I made the pattern by pressing into card with a pin, and then deaper impressions for the seperate flag stones.

 

Wow! What an amazing result!! I'll have to remember this one.

Did you do this at forehand and then placed on the bases or first placed it and then imprinted it?

I imprinted it first and then put it on the base. It took a while with pin and ruler, so you need space to work. It's worth doing some test pieces first to get a feel for how the pin moves.

My Temple Guard are finally finished. I might have bitten off a bit more than I could chew with this unit, but I'm happy with the results now they're done.

Terradon time! I decided to scratch build these funky dino-birds as a mix of plasticard, greenstuff and resin castin.

Here's a 'master' head made, to cast for the unit.

This is really phenomenal. The scratch build of 10mm Terradon's is stuff that you could build a YouTube channel around if you were so inclined!
