Hey all, Just finished my Lost Kingdom Carnisour,I've also got him with the GW one for a size comparsion.
Here's my Tigrex inspired Carnosaur: I already have another one built, and another one ready to build... ... I might have a problem.
I suppose the only problem is that they aren't painted yet! Oh, and I also have a Troglodon on my backlog too...
That is an awesome colorscheme. I like the darker limbs. Great detail on the eye Good luck on the others. Grrr, Imrahil
Thank you very much! I've already decided on colour schemes for the others, now it's just a matter of pulling them off like I did with this fine boy.
Ahah, some kind of same issue here, love the 'big guys' ! Good luck on the next, curious to see what will be their colour scheme as this one is looking very amazing !
Thanks! The Carnosaur is one of my favourite models, period! Loads of detail, incredibly fun to paint, plus it's a fantasy T-Rex! I'm already looking forward to getting started other the others.
Hey everyone! Absolutely love all the Carnosaurs in here, makes me want a second one! Here is mine, though in my usual way slightly altere and with a small blurb of homebrew! I went ahead and added horns but also using spare Troglodon sails (one of my Troglodons is Female and doesn't have a sail to differentiate) turned the tail into a more potent offensive or defensive weapon. I also had the Scar Vet/Oldblood be next to the Carnosaur, showing a more "hunting as one" sort of thing, the Saurus pointing towards their quarry. Horned Ghurian Ancient Carnosaur aka "The Whitsle Tail" "The Oldest and most battle hardened Carnosaurs under the control of the Temple Host of the Blood Moon in Ghur are chosen for ritual adaptation. More savage than before they are made to better fight Chaos and other enemies of the Temple Host through the use of Bones of Amber, the Realmstone of Ghur. The Prized enemy of these Ghur Influenced Carnosaurs and their masters are the Armies of Khorne. Lured to the top of the Temple of Itzl by a living sacrifice under a mind spell of a priest, the Carnosaur gores and feasts upon the sacrifice within a circle that is open to the sky, while feasting it is then shackled into place. Beast Priests, those divine followers of Itzl soon circle around the beast and hold up the realmstones which begin to levitate. Priests chant ancient incantations in an almost feral tongue as the realmstones begin to glow with amber light and its magic seeps into the Carnosaur. Withing in agony the Carnosaur can be heard for miles calling out as horns begin to grow out of its skull as new bone forms and its tail splits and grows razor sharp blades and a stone hard spike at the tip. Often times even the color of the Carnosaur will change to match closer to the Ghurian landscape. Freeguild armies and Khorne Armies alike in the Realm of Beasts have nicknamed them "Whistle Tails" for the sound the tail makes as it swings through the air. Full of feral fury the beast cuts down infantry and monster alike as a distinct high pitched whistle generates as air flows through the opening between the two tail blades.
