Really well done That read is absolutely beautiful, especially how the battle damage is picked out. I also really like the boars fur, I dunno, I always like seeing how people do fur lol. Really well done, keep it up!
Love it, love everything. I love the scene with the house in the back, even if on your desk lol As others have said that freehand is awesome on the banner, did it take a few tries or was it just one bam-boom? I don't see LoTr models often, but definitely good looking sculpts. I have the Cave Drake sitting on my shelf lol
Thank you very much, I love the armor of my Bloodtoofs as well, really fun to paint and find the right spots for highlights and battle damage. Grrr, Imrahil
Thank you!! I'd like to expand on the scene a little more The freehand is sort of a first go. I practiced the lines on paper first, but that was with pen and a straight banner... I really love the result. He will be featured over here in a spotlight soon. That is a very neat model Will be lots of fun to paint. Grrr, Imrahil
Thanks Also I still have a delivery of MESBG models at work, since December, but haven't been able to pick them up due to lockdown Have some plans for converting a hero to a mounted version Grrr, Imrahil
I am totally in my MESBG mode. Started converting even more Rivendell Warrior: The one on the left is the privious showed model These are all rescued models from an Ebay-ish service. Grrr, Imrahil
Some more pictures and words about the conversions: The last picture shows the normal pose of the Warriors with Elven blade. I cut the the arms at the shoulders and turned them almost up side down. He is shrugging it off Because of this the hands moved a little away from eachother and I needed an extended shaft. Here I used a piece of shaft from a spear of the Rivendell Knights. Grrr, Imrahil
The next was a Rivendell Warrior with bow, of which I have to much to field(due to the 33% bow limit in MESBG). I cut both his arms off at the shoulder and cut away the quiver. I took the before mentioned spear arm and shield of the Rivendell Knight and a left arm of a Warrior with Elven blade. Grrr, Imrahil
For the last one I used a Warrior with Elven blade I cut his left arm at the shoulder (used that for the spear dude) and his right arm at the elbow turning it 90 degrees to make him hold his blade singlehanded and attached the archer's left arm, peeled of it's indexfinger and glued a tiny strip of plastic on as a new finger pointing outwards. Grrr, Imrahil
Real impressive cut work and conversion work here man, they really look great and honestly couldn't tell the difference until i read the descriptions. Very well done, will be cool to see these done!
And now I can call them done: Better pictures will follow when daylight is bach again, as from the other three I promised Grrr, Imrahil
