Thanks, Yeah I honestly really enjoyed working on that base in order to give the sphianx a sort of 'Gladitorial' theme as if its in some sort of fighting pit, hence the bones, grates and strewn weaponry. On another note I managed to snag this 'Fatesworn Host' box set off ebay for only 100 pounds compared to its normal GW price (for all the individual models included) of 190. So, although I really really should be starting to get some of my Tzeentchian models painted... Magnetizing the lord of change was a challenge I certainly wanted to give a go, and one I think I successfully achieved. I did this by first filling up his torso and body with wall filler, before capping it all off with green stuff and through a lot of trial and error fitting the magnets and shaving bits and pieces off here and there until I achieved the perfect fits I was looking for. Sadly I can only like this once. They look great, you put a lot of effort in it. Well done Grrr, Imrahil
Great work on those bases. I love the little scenery parts Have you started painting some of your Tzeentch yet? Grrr, Imrahil
Well, Other than some practice paint schemes and a handful of horrors I haven't really painted much else... However, I want to get a portion of my Tzeentch army completely finished so have begun working on 'batches' so to speak - The idea being that I fully base and paint the models before moving onto anything else. The group Im currently working on consists of the gaunt summoner, 5 pinks (and the blues/brims associated) along with 10 kairics and the mindstealer sphiranx. So within the next few weeks Im definitely going to be getting some of these finished and ready to go.
Looking forward to seeing these painted! I've seen you post stuff on the discord, and again going through here I am still blown away at the work you've put into them (though I shouldn't be surprised knowing how meticulous you are with your bases!) I need to get on your level with the magnets, I'm trying to decide which to use for Tlanextic (Thunder Lizard).
I love how you go through what you do, I should take notes and maybe try to do the same with my kitbashes. Again, how meticulous and thoughtful you are with every change/detail is something to definitely admire
