The best part is that it is actually a rather nice trailer, showing just enough to get you excited. Wonder what the story is about. Who is this mysterious hero. And then you read the description and it all becomes clear.

it was also sold out by the time I opened the email announcing pre-orders, which was faster than even that Sister of battle box that was near instantly sold out..... hope it's just the supply chains problems due to covid...

 

neat models, bit weird to already have new heroes for something that was only on pre-order for 5 seconds before being sold out

Indeed. GW has been releasing some really excellent Vampires and Vampire hunters across multiple games. I'm impressed.

I might be slain for the words I'm about to utter, but the Great Slann from the Second Spawning NIGHTBRINGER might have been corrupted by The Great Enemy--might even be long dead and that body just been the puppet of the Dark Ones, as he hasbeen too optimistic about an Age of Sigmar release yet again.

Praise The Old Ones. May Sotek guard our kin.

 

The models are gorgeous. I may not be interested in AoS as a game, but excellent models can always be poached for WFB!

 

Mordheim... what a fun game.

I will say that I like the sculpts and design of several of the Underworld warbands, but I think the art on the cards has waned a little since the original. That's just my opinion naturally.

I'm surprised that Kharadron have an army set incoming with the Be'lakor book because GW didn't mention them in the announcement article, only Lizardmen, Stormcast and Nighthaunt, but obviously they must feature in the story if they are getting an army set.
