Well, SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN MOVIE (AND REALLY SHOULD GO WATCH IT NOW), he dies, yes, but he accomplishes overthrowing the emperor of Rome from the position of gladiator and slave. I.E. Despite MANY obstacles he still achieves his goal. How about "No matter how many barriers are between you and your goal, there is nothing you cannot overcome with integrity and determination." F**k yeah!
Well, considering that his goal was to avenge his family and then go to the Elysian Fields, he achieved it 110%. My daughters still cried.
If you want to be sure nobody unintentionally sees your spoiler you could use the spoiler inserts Spoiler: Like this and than spoil the stuff over here Grrr, Imrahil
I cannot watch the movie without getting emotional myself. And I've seen it several times. Great story. AMAZING acting by Joaquim Phoenix and Russel Crowe.
