Wow @NIGHTBRINGER, I hadn't seen this thread. Really lovely (and delicate) work. I have no idea how you cut out that beaver tail. As a big fisherman, my brother would love that bass.
It's a fun little hobby. I've been trying to get my Mom into it. Thank you my friend. I'm glad that you like them!! Those are my three favourites as well. Thanks! My wife loves fishing too, so it was a great little project to make for her. As for the beaver tail, the trick is to use an ultra fine (thin) blade. Thank you for the kind words!
This one is technically not non-warhammer, but since the rest of my wooden Christmas tree ornaments can be found in this thread, I figured I put this one here as well. A simple 2021 addition to the Christmas tree. This one measures about 40mm X 45mm.
Here is another one. Before anyone mentions that I got the year wrong, @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER and I have a tradition where we take a couple of disks from each year's Christmas tree and make a pair of ornaments from them. So this ornament is from last year's Christmas tree. When we eventually have to take down this year's tree, will take a couple of trunk discs and repeat the process next year. In the end, each of our Christmas trees is immortalized in ornament form.
