Hmm, Kinda, I wanted a neon look and I guess Tron has that kind of vibe but it was not what I had in mind. Well, to be honest, I liked the pink and blank squares idea but I also liked doing "real" jungle. 100% neon base was a bit too much for the eye AND it's pretty long and annoying to paint so I went for a mix of the two and had the idea to add some crackling earth to represent the fact that the Seraphons are crossing between space/realms from their jungle to another dimension/place with some "blank space" in between.
That Steg looks amazing! Love the basing crossover between the "real world" and the abstract world. I have seen this parttern used on Eldar/Dark Eldar before, but not in rhe Fantasy setting. Greaf fan of it. Grrr, Imrahil
Agreed! Also really like the reversal of tones on the horns, I'd only thought to do it dark to light but not light to dark, good idea!
Thanks! I am happy with the skin but not so muche with the rest and as I don't spend too muche time, eh. Carno time !
I've seen a lot. But this... this is good and wild beyond comprehension. Bold color scheme and you pulled it off masterfully, spicing it up with the base to bring that VHS tape times feels.
Wow those colors looks soo vibrant, congrats mate ! Is there any chance you could told me the color you used (especially the deep pink and this amazing green on the back of the carnosaurs) ?
Hello, Thanks for the kind words. For the pink, i have used FW Ink at first but then tried some Vallejo Fluo Magenta that has a better (but still not very good) coverage. So, many layer. About the green , I usezd Flubber Green from Greenstuffworld but many brands have the same tone (I am running out of it). Third I think last Steg:
Marvelous, I love the contrast between the bright tones on the base and the darker colors of the Stegadon. Great work again. Grrr, Imrahil
The Stegadon looks so nice, I agree with Imrahil, the contrast between dark and bright tones is really nice !
