What are some of your favourite videos, forums, websites or other places to help inspire you to craft terrain, build minis, or paint? Here are a few of my favourites: Wyloch's Armory https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOt6UN-cmqk19s0sPBTUXfiRjmoijVr4Y Blandco https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSR8SueVogHgze7Jd76ud6ubEcc81KxWE Dungeon Craft https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYlOu5g6H7ZxtDt504sT2HMfOYkh7p-KC RP Archive https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2FU_XukJ2Y-QTHaTkn9Qztheq-LU3tk0 Bard's Craft https://youtube.com/c/BardsCraft Lyla Mev https://youtube.com/c/LylaMev Rubbishinrubbishout https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ3wfiPbNx4R3T-gdIDdaho9GMShl5dZB Black Magic Craft https://youtube.com/c/BlackMagicCraftOfficial Eonsofbattle https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX1fXqW4h5RRcMWPdKQaOoskc-XsyeV9Z TheDMsCraft https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvHnaAPK1_Jg0i7Ykfv8tWLiH47rd569G TheDMGInfo https://youtube.com/c/TheDMGinfo
My favourite painting series done by Vince Venturella, especially his Hobby Cheating series. Admittedly it is sometimes too advanced (for my meager skill level), but I always walk away with some great ideas. Plus the guy is insanely talented, super friendly and has a good presentation style. The Hobby Cheating series is 350 videos strong at this point, so the odds are he'll have something on the topic you are looking for. For terrain building I really like Mel The Terrain Tutor. I've picked up so good techniques from him. A lot of his stuff is beginner friendly and the finished projects look great.
I don't know why I always forget him, I stumble onto Vince every time I pick up the hobby. Really good videos. I will check out the terrain tutor.
I have one so far when it comes to building minis, writing rules and theming armies... Spoiler: It's called The fantastical and epic world that is my imagination Jokes aside, I've found Miniature Hobbyist to be a provider of quite a bit of enjoyable content, in particular he's inspired me to do more with all my leftover sprues, including the construction of the Greenskin tents and watchtower that have recently graced my painting blog. In recent times he also became a 3D-Printing convert, so if you're looking to get a printer (I mentally send your wallet a pre-emptive Get Well Soon card), his videos will no doubt be of interest.
Good idea and great list. The only one of these I know and have used is Black Magic Craft. A lot to watch for inspiration Ones I visit regularly are Zorpazorp: https://www.youtube.com/c/Zorpazorp and Real Terrain Hobbies: https://www.youtube.com/c/RealTerrainHobbies Grrr, Imrahil
