I view those of my countrymen and women who speak like that with the Contempt special rule (see Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos), for they seem to think that speaking like black rappers is ‘cool’ and ‘trendy’ when all it actually does is render them uncivilised lesser beings that are a disgrace to their country, because street ‘culture’ is a vile degenerate work of uncivilised lesser beings (of all colours and tongues I may add - Britons of other skin colours are just as at fault for spreading this evil as black rappers are for bringing it into the country) that has polluted this modern era irreparably. The poor diction displayed by a lot of modern-day television presenters and the glamourisation of street ‘culture’ in advertisements doesn’t help of course, and needs to be stamped out, because it seems to communicate that such filth is accepted when it should not be. If a Briton truly respects and appreciates his/her glorious country and heritage, then they shall speak English the way it was meant to be spoken, i.e. as British people have always spoken it throughout history, i.e. pronouncing all letters as per their regional dialect.
Meh. I've a lot of people from all over the country and it really depends on how strong their accent is. South London and Brighton for sure. A whole bunch from the South East. Some Northeners. But it's not totally black of white based on where you are. Definitely a whole bunch do pronounce it that way. I have no idea if it's a majority or not.
A little bit more serious and darker of a reply than I had anticipated! No mention of drinking the "t" / tea. The Streisand effect strikes again!
I thought about putting this video in the random thread but it had me laughing a lot so I thought it would apply to "Just for Laughs"
