Finished more palanites for necromunda! With a purchase of some extra bodies I was able to put the leftover guns from the original kit to good use. Pink-haired enforcer used the leftover head from the forgeworld kit. I decided her codename would be Bubbles Super happy with how the forgeworld Scrutinator Primus Servalan turned out! And her cyber-mastiff. Spoiler The new cyber-mastiff is way bigger than my previously-painted pup! All three of the ladies together. The head sizes are all quite a bit different, but I am happy with the paint scheme.
Whole enforcer gang as it is right now, only got a few more ideas to complete until this Necromunda gang will be considered done!
Anyone out there collect infinity? Recently I bought a small batch of Infinity models from the Haqqislam faction. Painted up one of the snipers yesterday: Needs a tiny bit more work, plus a varnish and some suitable desert basing to be considered fully complete. These models feel tiny compared to the Necromunda I have been painting. They are all metal as well, reminding me of the Drowned Earth minis I did a few months back. Really enjoyed painting this lady, looking forward to painting a few more!
Is it really September already?! Painting is slow but progress continues. Trying out crackle paint for the first time. The bases still need to try a bit in this picture; it didn't go on as thick as I would have wanted in some spots so I may try again. Really enjoying the veteran with his mask.
Calling these first furious five done! Tuareg Sniper: Spoiler: Haqqislam Tuareg sniper Bog-standard Ghulam Infantry: Every good army needs some basic grunts. My favorite of the box is the Zhayedan veteran (Immortals): Spoiler: Haqqislam Zhayedan And here is the lot, all from the Haqqislam Starter Pack: One more trooper from this box set left to do and I can move on to more of these guys. I enjoyed painting with the crackle paint, I am considering doing some basic drybrushing in the future for it? Going to pass on that for now, although looking at these pictures I will have to edit how I do lighting for this kind of picture.
These look amazing! Great colorscheme! I love the background in combination with these models. Grrr, Imrahil
Tarik Mansuri, Amir of the Khawarij, and a regular Khawarij are both complete. Tarik Mansuri is the finest of the Haqqislam supersoldier project; think Captain America but if the creator of the program wasn't just one person, and he didn't die, and kept building the program for an entire elite unit of supersoldier Khawarij soldiers that Tarik now leads into battle. He is also an instructor at the Haqqislam military school. Had fun with the designs on his cloak. The Khawarij supersoldier: Tarik towers over the rest of the Haqqislamite force; and he isn't even wearing heavy armor! Spoiler: bonus Comparison to some GW primaris marines: Complete Haqqislam action pack that I used as a starter set. I enjoyed painting these five, they were a good introduction to Infinity models. Looking forward to painting up the miniatures from the Operation Blackwind set next.
Thanks! Yup these are all from Corvus Belli's Infinity game, from the Haqqislam faction. I have a few from the Aleph faction/Operation Blackwind code one box that got published recently but don't plan to paint them till the Haqqislam folks are done.
Thanks, I wanted to retain the green and bone/tan colors from the actual model line, but swapped the dark brown out for a tyrian-purple-ish color. Having fun using the colors for my Lasiq (an assassin sniper with a Viral sniper rifle).
I really like the visor. That variation in green really sets it apart. It also looks like the top of it is blended to a brighter hue. Very slick.
