Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - December 2022 This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple. At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else. Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link. Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link. The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc. You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section. If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress Grrr, !mrahil
Ok, my month ends on the 20th this month so with that in minds let's keep it simple. Plan and create a conversion. Create a piece of terrain either for the tabletop or for display. Paint something Seraphon related Lots of leeway here and honestly If I complete one of these, I will be happy
Okay, let's do better this month Mr Viking Dino Monkey... Finishing touches on the Slann Finish up the last 9 Saurus Guard Prime, paint up, and base my EotG ADHD List: 2 units of knights repaired/assembled, primed and undercoated (done)
As I will be at office only 9 days (including today) in December, I do not expect much to be done, bar will be low again. I will mostly try to do various odds and ends and finish what I already started last month. Maybe I´ll find some time at home (let´s hope) during extended holidays and scrape some moldlines. -Finish third unit of Knights -Finish second unit of Warriors -Clean (and possibly glue) third unit of skinks -Clean (and possibly glue) two bastilodons
Ok, clarification time. "noticeable" progress means painting and basing. I'm building and clearing sprues like a mad fiend lately.
My goals for the last month of the year are as follows: - Finish painting at least 10 Mordor Orcs - Paint 5 Wild Wargs - Make some farming scenery - Have a game night with my brother Grrr, !mrahil

Having just move house this weekend, my goals are simple. I need to fully unpack and reorganise my office and hobby area. Then I intend to ease myself back into painting after weeks without being able to do any.
I've also been through several moves. I'd aim for building a few models, personally. less unpacking needed to get to glue and a box of sprues, generally speaking.
I am only just getting my hobby space fully dedicated this last month (really came down to decluttering to make it functional). Good luck with the move and what comes after!!
Third unit of knights is done, second unit of warriors is done as well. Bastiladons are ready to be glued and I should be able to do it tomorrow. Skinks are matter of two lunchbreaks. Time to add more goals for once. I already started fourth unit of knights, so I plan to prime them and leave it for january, but I am playing with thought to slapchop one of Bastiladons.
Aaaah it's the last month of the year, Im not ready for this. It's gonna be very hectic, so I'll just do what I can when I have free time. My main goals are: Order some new sprays from a trusted brand that I've already used. Obtain a new gryph hound, build it, fill the gaps and stare at it until it paints itself in good looking colors Just do some random projects that fall in my hands
Doesn't work. According to my observation, model is more stubborn than modeller. I have one that won staring contest after 13 months.
Soooo, ADD struck, and instead of staying focused on my Guard, I am rescuing the knights from an ebay lot I picked up awhile ago...
Wow it's December! I am up to 119 minis painted this year... hoping to massively increase that number this month. I just finished my infinity Wolverine, and aside from a few more Infinity models I am hoping to do some major work on finishing my Zombicide Black Plague box set this year. The player characters are finished, but there are roughly ~60 odd zombies I am hoping to speedpaint through next week. We will see how this goes...!
I made a start on the Wargs and on some farming scenery: - Finish painting at least 10 Mordor Orcs - Paint 5 Wild Wargs - Make some farming scenery - Have a game night with my brother Grrr, !mrahil
